UME Travel is a treasure for those of us seeking safety, comfort, and peace of mind when traveling. Dan Li helped me plan every idea and what I dreamed of for this trip; no matter how often I messaged him to add something new or shake up the itinerary, he always accommodated my requests with a great attitude and willingness to help. He ask me allways if we need more thing to make comes true our dream travel and made it !!thanks Dan li for such a wonderfull trip. We had very nice hoteles 4 stars choosed by Dan and we were very happy with them. The locations of the hotels were perfect. Dan took the time to choose them carefully—it was as if he knew my tastes, as he managed to make us feel very comfortable; I’m particular about hotels, yet we had no complaints. We loved the traditional hotel at Mount Fuji, where we slept on tatami mats and were welcomed with a traditional Japanese dinner—it was quite an Unforgettable experience!!! We felt in Arriving in Japan and being met by someone to take us to our hotel was an invaluable, stress-free experience—especially in a country where the language barrier is significant. Every morning, we were met in the hotel lobby to be guided along our planned routes—and beyond—because if we asked for something extra, they always found a way to make it happen. They even sent a birthday cake to the hotel for my husband as surprise for him!! Their guides are the kindest, most helpful people you could hope to meet. Clifford in Tokyo was efficient, precise, and always incredibly friendly. Sarah in Kyoto was wonderful; she explained everything with such joy and a positive attitude, and she patiently waited for us at every stop we wanted to make—always smiling and ready to help. And Zack in Osaka—my personal photographer! Without a second thought, he offered to take photos and brought his own camera along to capture the most beautiful shots of my whole family in kimonos and samurai dressing. For someone so young, he possessed impressive culture and knowledge, helping us better understand every attraction we visited. He became like a son to me; I even teared up when we said goodbye. UME Travel’s incomparable service and the genuine warmth of their guides turn your dream trip into reality. I recommend them a thousand percent!

UME Travel organized a fantastic Japan journey for our family. The program was interesting, varied and well balanced, combining modern cities with beautiful natural scenery and cultural experiences. When unexpected circumstances arose because of the typhoon, the team quickly adjusted the itinerary and provided helpful guidance. Their professionalism and customer care gave us great confidence throughout the trip. Although there were a few minor imperfections, the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We had an absolutely amazing two-week trip through Japan, and couldn't have been happier with the experience. Dan Li and Ume Travel did a fantastic job planning every detail . Everything was thoughtfully organized, allowing us to enjoy the beauty, culture, food, and history of Japan without having to worry about any logistics. A special thank you to our tour guide, Hang, who was incredibly attentive, professional, and organized throughout the trip. Hang made sure every arrangement went smoothly and was always available to help with anything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our experience even more memorable. We loved every moment of our journey and highly recommend Dan Li, Ume, and Hang to anyone planning a trip to Japan. Thank you for creating such a wonderful and unforgettable experience!

I worked with Carrie from UME travel and booked a 5 country tour through Asia over 3 weeks for my family of 6. Phenomenal experience with Carrie. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and responded rapidly. From detailed planning, through booking, and during the trip, she was with me every step organizing and putting out fires quickly. She made us feel extremely supported and VIP. Excellent. Highly recommend. Amazing. Loved working with her.

I would highly reccomend UME Travel. They put together an itinerary that fit our needs perfectly. Our Guide Brian was AMAZING! super knowledgeable in so many ways, it truly was an educational experience for us as well. UME Travel followed through on all details of our trip, everything was seem less from start to finish. My Family genuinely thanks them for our best travel experience ever.
Perfect 2 weeks in japan with kids
The organization was perfect not to exhausting, with enough free time. The main things to see and do were included. The guides and drivers were very nice and helpful and we felt safe and taking care of.
Japan - July 2026
Ivan from UME travel made our trip to Japan for a week a great experience. He customized our itinerary, the arrangements were seamless and flawless .Every query or question was responded to almost instantaneously, and we had plenty. We had 3 tour guides , Lynn, Momo and Hikari, everyone showed up ahead of time, and made our experience in Japan memorable . The drivers at each city coordinated with us a day ahead, were very punctual and very polite . I would definitely recommend using UME travel and Ivan in particular, to plan your trip.

Eva is our super assistant for our trip to Japan! She suggested great itinerary to match with our preference. We want one private tour with guide and experience public transportations and walk. And another day with join group tour to Mont.Fuji. All the food which included in our program are great as well. Hotel Mitsui Garden that we stayed is very nice. We had small issue up on check in about accommodation tax. But when I contact Eva and her team, all problem solved in seconds. This is the tour operator should be and I'm sure UME Travel and Eva will be our assistant for next time to Japan!

We worked with Felix to create a vacation plan that would satisfy the whole family, My husband and I and our 14 and 6 year old boys. Felix was fantastic, he made me comfortable from the start. He made suggestions, changes, and plans that we all loved. All of our tour operators, private guides, and drivers were great and had great communication. Felix checked in on us and even made changes when we requested mid-trip. I was nervous to use UME to make plans because I always make all the plans but it ended up being great. Our hotels were perfect and all of our tickets and plans were seamless. Thank you Felix! Japan was incredible.

Amazing Trip
We just wanted to thank Steven Hu and UME travel for organizing such a wonderful trip for us to China and Hong Kong. The entire experience was fantastic, and we were genuinely sad to leave these beautiful destinations. We arrived home a couple of days ago, and we're still talking about all the incredible memories we made. Everything went very smoothly, especially the transfers, which were arranged so seamlessly. Your hotel selections were excellent, and every driver and tour guide we met was professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Thank you for making our vacation so well planned, stress-free, and truly memorable. Your attention to detail and expert coordination allowed us to relax and enjoy every moment of the journey. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Amber and the entire UMEL Travel team for organizing such a wonderful trip to Japan. From start to finish, everything was well planned, organized, and executed, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience without stress. This was truly a beautiful and unforgettable journey. We had the opportunity to visit Tokyo, Kyoto, Hakone, and Osaka, each offering its own unique culture, history, and atmosphere. The itinerary provided a perfect balance between modern attractions and traditional Japanese experiences. Some of the highlights of the trip included riding the Shinkansen (bullet train), visiting several breathtaking temples and shrines, experiencing a traditional Kimono and Tea Ceremony, exploring the incredible scenery of Hakone, and enjoying unforgettable days at Disney and Universal Studios Japan. What impressed me most was the attention to detail throughout the trip. The accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities were all thoughtfully arranged. Amber was professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to assist, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Beyond the attractions, I appreciated the opportunity to learn about Japanese culture, traditions, hospitality, cuisine, and history. Amber at UME Travel, organized the perfect first time trip for us in Japan. She listened to our needs and everything was perfectly done. The hotels were adequate in a great location, the guides Tao, yuya & Levi were very friendly and flexible and ensured we had a great time and our UME contact in Japan Kirin did everything to ensure we were well taken care of. I would recommend UME Travel without hesitation.

UME Travel was just spectacular. The whole process of trip planning to the my last moments in Japan were incredible. Amber at UME organized my trip and was an incredible resource. She was so communicative and well organized, and helped me so much. My guides Leo, David and Chaomin were the most amazing guides in each of the cities I visited, and have become lifelong friends. UME was just excellent all-around. I will be booking with them again next year. They are the best out there!

Phoebe was PERFECT in helping me plan our trip. Iwould give our guide Judith an A+++ for her time with us for a full day guided tour in Hong Kong. She was very knowledgeable on so many topics—She knew the answer to every question we asked. She provided a full 9 hour day on both sides of Victoria Harbor. We were pleased that she not only showed us the major sites, but also took us to many markets and places to observe everyday life in the city. Best of all, she was very kind, friendly, and funny. She was so interesting to talk to! We feel that we have a new friend in Hong Kong. Anyone who has Judith as a guide will be very fortunate. Japan Trip
While considering a family trip to Japan, I found UME Travel online and worked with Ms. Carrie Tang. To say that I was pleased with her service is an understatement; she was truly wonderful throughout the entire process of planning our two week stay. By sincerely listening to our family interests, she selected hotels in prime locations and organized tours that were simply spectacular. My younger son had hoped to see Mt. Fuji, and thanks to her help with our hotel arrangements, it was a dream come true for him. Also, our tour guides (Andrew, Hang, and Yuya) and drivers were some of the warmest and kindest people we met in Japan. They were helpful and patient in every way, from sharing local restaurant recommendations and assisting with translations for gift buying to ensuring we navigated the train system successfully. Much like our trip to beautiful Japan, their efforts were unforgettable. Thank you for everything, Carrie/UME Travel, for making our journey truly amazing.
Honeymoon in Thailand
After a really difficult year with the passing of both my parents, my husband and I were finally able to go on our honeymoon and UME Travel made it an experience we will never forget. They tailor made our holiday to Thailand, taking in our interests to plan the most wonderful time in Bangkok and Hua Hin. Whilst we were in Thailand, our guide (Neena), was on hand from the moment we landed until the moment we were back at the airport. She had a wealth of knowledge and also recommended extra activities and food places we could visit. The booking process was easy. Settled on an itinerary, paid, and received a complete and very detailed final itinerary a week before we arrived. Hassle free, no stress booking multiple things, it was just what we needed. Thank you Steven and Neena for making this the best holiday we have ever been on.

I needed to write a review based on Amber at UME and the incredible tour guides they booked for my trip. Amber went above and beyond before, during, and after our trip and because of that diligence and attention to detail; we were able to have the greatest dream vacation ever. My wife Tiffany and I had the absolute pleasure of exploring Japan with three extraordinary guides—JCY in Tokyo, Hikari in Kyoto, and Momo in Osaka—and we truly cannot say enough about how incredible each of them was. From the moment we began our journey, JCY set the tone in Tokyo with boundless energy, deep knowledge, and a genuine passion for sharing the city. She made every location feel alive, offering fascinating insights into both modern culture and historical context. Whether we were navigating bustling districts or learning about sacred sites, JCY made everything approachable, engaging, and fun. In Kyoto, Hikari brought a completely different—but equally wonderful—experience. Her calm, thoughtful presence matched the city’s beauty perfectly. She provided rich historical context for the temples and shrines, helping us truly appreciate the significance of each place we visited. Her ability to connect the past with the present made Kyoto feel deeply meaningful rather than just beautiful. And in Osaka, Momo was an absolute joy. Her personality, humor, and enthusiasm made every moment exciting. She had an incredible way of making us feel welcomed and comfortable while still sharing so much knowledge about the city’s character and history. With her, the experience felt vibrant, personal, and unforgettable. Each guide brought something unique, but all three shared the same incredible generosity, professionalism, and passion for what they do. They went above and beyond to ensure we not only saw amazing places, but truly understood them. The guidance they offered—especially in explaining the history and cultural significance behind temples, shrines, and landmarks—made all the difference in our experience. We are so deeply appreciative of JCY, Hikari, and Momo. They didn’t just guide us—they elevated our entire trip into something truly special. Thank you all for an unforgettable experience.
