Failure to take responsibility for technical issues on their website
Due to a glitch on the company's website I ended up with a double booking for the same hotel. It took a ridiculous amount of effort to get the second room refunded (multiple phone calls and over 20 emails). I finally was refunded the fee for the second room but was still charged a penalty of over $100 that Agoda refused to refund. Then when I arrived at the hotel the issue came up again but the hotel then sorted it out themselves. One star because I got the room in the end.I booked nearly two months in advance and caught and reported the issue immediately so plenty of time for them to fix it all. Needless to say I will not be using Agoda again in the future.

Was easy up book with good prices. Haven't been on trip yet so hopefully no problems when we arrive at hotel.

Quite happy so far. However initial contact via the Agoda app seemed to produce some repetition of messages, now much better with contact via WhatsApp

Easy to book. Too many coupons to get discounted prices/ promotions. Much cheaper than trip.com. 🤭
