Disappointing accommodation and unacceptable customer service
Agoda failed to resolve my complaint about dirty, moldy and unpleasant-smelling accommodation in Abu Dhabi. The property was difficult to locate, nobody initially answered the door, and my request for another room was refused. I had to leave and pay for alternative accommodation and transport. Agoda keeps repeating the property's response and offers only up to 30% compensation without adequately addressing my complaint. I am requesting a full refund. Extremely disappointing customer service and accountability.

Never again, Agoda. My trust in this platform is completely gone. A booking confirmation is worthless if you pay for one apartment category and receive another.
When something goes wrong, Agoda hides behind chatbots instead of providing accessible customer support and taking responsibility. I was left chasing a solution to a problem created by the booking process itself. Automated replies are no substitute for actually resolving a complaint.
This is unacceptable. Agoda took my payment, but failed to ensure that I received what I booked. I will never book through Agoda again.
Easy to use website/App always competitively prices,I only book if free cancellation.

Felt so cheated. Bought an overnight stay at Legoland JB and paid to AGODA. As it was so late and that there was no confirmation, I tried to cancel however was unable to do so. Then at 6+pm, an email came to say that the room for the night was confirmed. I went to the reservation counter and told them that it was too late and that I was not able to take it on. Hopefully they would grant me a refund and indeed they agreed.
Later, AGODA mentioned that although hotel has issued a refund but it was via a third party that they would not be able to issue any refunds.
I am 100% sure from the credit card details, payment was to AGODA with no idea who this third party is, I am left having to fork the bill.
I have no idea where to go from here. I have zero faith in this OTA platform and it is a hard lesson I learnt and that no more of AGODA.

Surprise 4 star review. Having trouble with other sites quote a price then add on charges, site not working properly and all I want to do is book a nine night stay in Manila. Go to AGODA site see the hotel I want, see the room I want, book, no hassle, no hidden charges. what is going on. Am I deeming NO. So well done AGODA you get 4 stars now, and you are not taking my payment until January when I will be staying. If all goes well finally I ill award you the extra star. Makes a change to give a positive review. Do not let me down
