I booked a hotel in Manhreservation months in advance through Agoda.com, but they canceled it at the last minute when they realized they could sell it for a higher price elsewhere. They used the excuse that there was an issue with my credit card, even though that wasn’t actually the case. It was really frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend booking through them. From now on, I’d suggest using a more reliable site like Expedia, which might be a bit more expensive but at least won’t leave you stranded.

Poor communications - flight changed but never notify me
I've been a loyal customers yet on the last 2 bookings they failed to notify me when the flight time changed. Resulting in drama and issues during the day.
Better change to other service providers who is capable to provide proper service.

Booked in rush and wanted to change the booking.
Couldn’t do it, no 30 mins or 60mins cooling off for cancellation just no refund policy is all that I could see like it’s all for hotel and not for the one who booked it
I wish u guys improve and protect customers also.
My last booking here as I don’t like to block money for little discount, atleast with other site I get chance to cancel obligation free atleast

Don't use. Booked 2 nights accommodation, first time with agoda, arrived in hotel thankfully soon after. No booking and hotel informed us they don't use a booking service. Agoda insist booking was real even though followup email from hotel stating it was not.
Trying to get my money now but leaving review so others know not to use!

Always trust and use Agoda for my hotel bookings. However NOT all I got the best rate for some hotels I already booked. Best for value of money and trust!

Agoda promotes those hotels where he get more commission and while help they ask to get in touch with hotel. They list the project with fake AI photos to lure the customer. i complained about cleanliness of hotel Silverton by Aspen in Nainital but got no response. MMT is much better in terms of Customer Service.

Agoda made a reservation via booking.com- I saw it
They sent me to a hotel in Budapest which is closed for months. I went to the ROSE City Hotel in the neighboring building to make inquiries, and they showed me that I had a valid reservation there—made through Booking.com! It had already been paid for, just as I had paid for the Papillon Hotel via Agoda. It was a completely different hotel, with different rooms. It’s shocking what kind of scams are going on at Agoda.
