I booked a hotel on the Agoda website for €760. On the exact same day, their own mobile app was showing the identical room, dates, and conditions for €565. I applied for their "Best Price Guarantee" and provided clear screenshots with all details visible. Agoda Customer Support (agents Aarav, Saurabh, Syahira) repeatedly rejected my claim using ridiculous, contradictory, and completely false technical excuses just to avoid paying. This is a highly unprofessional and misleading commercial practice. I have already filed official complaints with the National Consumer Protection Authority (ANPC) and econsumer.gov Beware of their fake guarantees!

Please be informed that my case has already been escalated to your highest internal department, the Agoda Customer Satisfaction & Incidents Team (CSAT), and agent Sri has contacted me directly via email. I have already provided all the clear screenshots showing the app/website price difference multiple times over the last 8 days. I am currently waiting for the CSAT team to finalize their official review for my booking.
I expect a professional resolution from them.
The Agoda Customer Satisfaction & Incidents Team (CSAT) intervened and officially approved a full refund of the price difference (€195) back to my card.The funds arrived in my account within 24 hours. While the initial customer support experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional, the escalation team handled the issue quickly and resolved it properly.

Agoda has an excellent choice and offers the best free cancellation policy. It could however, upgrade the algorithm to accept and follow the filters that are selected. Often I select all the relevant filters that I would like, yet the website gives me options that are inpplicable.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. The only thing I didn't like was when checking in asking if we wanted to upgrade for £30 then being asked if we wanted to book a breakfast for £19 each, did we want to book the restaurant as there might be no room the list seem to go on.
Customer assistance is limited to a bot and does not help in an emergency
