Return Refused and Poor Customer Service

I accidentally ordered the wrong item and requested a return after receiving it. The item is unused and in its original condition, but Banggood refused my return request. I also did not appreciate the way customer service handled my request, as I found the response rude and unhelpful. As a customer in Germany/EU, I understand that consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for many online purchases, subject to legal exceptions. I expected Banggood to handle my return request in accordance with the applicable consumer-protection rules. I am disappointed with this experience and hope Banggood will review the case and provide a fair solution.

Bangood…

The quality of the goods and price was excellent. (SSB CB Radio). Speed of dispatch and delivery was excellent. One issue however was poor after sales service... I found it impossible to raise support from customer services through the Bangood app when a fault developed in my CB radio. Never had any support from Bangood on this, indeed any reply to my request for assistance. Thankfully I managed to resolve the issue myself. This will not however deter me from future purchases from Bangood.

Severely Damaged Packed And Contents Received

This is my first purchase from Banggood. Order was placed on Monday. Package was delivered on Wednesday by Evri. Package arrived severely damaged. Sides of the packaging had been penetrated and the goods and packaging inside were damaged. On Thursday I contacted Banggood on their web site form and explained the situation. I attached numerous photos clearly showing the outside and inside of the damage package. I advised I wanted the damaged package collected and a new item supplied. I received a ticket number. The following Monday I received an email from Banggood saying I had not responded to a communication from their “customer service representative” for three days. I had NOT received any previous communication from Banggood. I replied to their email stating that I had NOT received any communication. I requested they advise when they would collect the damaged package a deliver a new replacement. I am waiting for a reply from Banggood. About an hour after I sent my reply I received this email request from Trustpilot to review my Banggood experience. This is Banggood's reply to my Trustpilot review above. Looks like a standard pre-written response. Does not address the issue. All I want is a replacement for the item that arrived damaged. Good communications especially…

Good communications especially regarding delivery which was quite quick. The quality of the item seems okay but time will tell. A couple of the grub screws which have to be removed to turn the direction of the rubber wheels were a little difficult to replace and may cause a problem going forward. I will have to wait and see. However, one has to consider the price which represents good value for money.

My first order wasn’t completed. I paid for it and waited 12 days instead of the promised 5 days. When I contacted customer support to ask about the delay, I was told that my order would be delivered in another month. This completely disrupted my plans, so I cancelled the order and am now waiting for a refund. My second order, however, was completed successfully and delivered within a short time.
