Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers frequently complained about severe product quality issues, reporting that internal hardware components, batteries, and screens failed shortly after their initial purchase. Consumers also experienced deeply frustrating customer service challenges, noting that support teams were completely unhelpful, unresponsive, and painfully slow to resolve reported problems. The minority of people were genuinely satisfied with the strong hardware performance, smooth display features, and overall quality of certain devices. A few reviewers even shared exceptionally great customer care experiences, prompt online communication, and fully well-functioning products received during their recent purchases.

SUCKS B-@-LLS (not lying)

The. Battery. Does. Not. Hold. Charge. Plug in, commence 3 hour wait for the little percentage icon to somehow change from 2 to 49. Even when it is 100 god forbid you forget to turn power saving mode on and all your charge vanishes within an hour. It's like magic! Oh, forgot to mention power saving mode does absolutely NOTHING other than cause your screen to switch off every second, so the phone is hopelessly unusable anyway. Great! Not sarcasm, I don't feel particularly compelled to use it much anyway, not when the design is a little on the poor side (understatement). Vibration doesn't turn off, camera IS GOOD, if it wasn't for the fact everything is locked under a "VIP subscription". Oh... utterly f_#cking unusable then! Turns out the developers are... greedy. And bossy. Try to use the phone everyday and you'll get battered with messages like "try again", "use two fingers", "do not-do not"... Befittingly totalitarian chi nese phone company that more than makes up for such temptingly low prices.

The honor pad x9 I bought for my sister…

The honor pad x9 I bought for my sister is still working as if it's still brand new! She's using it for school and sometimes playing games. The battery lasts long than other tablets she had, like you can play YouTube for hours without worrying about running out out charge. I'm giving it 4/5!!!

My phone is infected with virus and it…

My phone is infected with virus and it is plays norton360 ad non stop. Desktop has disappeared and icons are in drop down format. Not on ad after every icon. To find an icon it takes forever. When I click on the app, Norton kicks in. Can't open anything. Tried to contact support, they told me to do various things non of them worked. Virus scan says No virus, device is secured. Software is updated. Absolute nightmare sine last 24 hour. I regret buying this cheap thing.

HONOR phones are good

HONOR phones are good. HONOR customer service is an absolute nightmare. I want to start by being fair about the product itself. I genuinely like HONOR phones. That is precisely why I became a repeat customer and have bought four HONOR devices. I wouldn't have kept spending my money with them if I didn't think the hardware was good. Unfortunately, my experience of HONOR when something actually goes wrong has completely destroyed my confidence in the company. My Magic V5, costing over £1,100, developed an inner-screen fault when it was less than five months old. It hadn't been dropped or damaged. HONOR/SBE initially classified it as physical damage and wanted £662.32 to repair it. After escalating and arguing my case, HONOR eventually agreed to deal with it without charge. That should have been the end of it. Instead, it was the beginning of weeks of excuses, delays and endless promises that things were being “chased”. Eventually HONOR told me the repair was taking too long because of problems obtaining parts. I was then told in writing that they were replacing the phone directly from their warehouse. They even gave me a tracking number for my replacement. The parcel arrived. It contained MY ORIGINAL BROKEN PHONE, STILL UNREPAIRED. You genuinely couldn't make this up. HONOR subsequently admitted in writing that there had been a “massive error”. They arranged for me to return the broken phone AGAIN and explicitly confirmed in writing that I would receive an exact replacement from NEW STOCK — not repaired, not refurbished — dispatched from their warehouse partner CEVA. I was also told that the new phone should be dispatched on the same day they received my faulty handset. They received it on Wednesday 14 October at 12:37pm. It is now Monday 19 October. No replacement. No dispatch confirmation. No tracking number. I have chased them repeatedly by email. I have called them. I have spoken to their so-called VIP support. Every response amounts to the same thing: “we're chasing it”. Today I specifically asked for someone to actually resolve this rather than fob me off with another email saying it was being chased. Nothing. Complete radio silence. At this point HONOR has my money AND my phone, while I am left without the £1,100+ device I bought and rely upon. I have now had to open a Section 75 claim with American Express and make a formal complaint to HONOR simply to try to get them to honour something they have ALREADY AGREED IN WRITING to do. This is hands down one of the worst customer-service experiences I have ever had. The most frustrating thing is that I actually LIKE their products. I was a loyal returning customer. But what good is an excellent phone if this is what happens when it develops a fault? Based on my experience, I would seriously think twice before spending £1,000+ on a HONOR device. You're not just buying the hardware — you're relying on the company standing behind it when something goes wrong. My experience has been weeks of delays, contradictory information, a broken handset being sent back to me after I was told a replacement was coming, repeated promises that haven't been fulfilled, and an apparently endless cycle of being told somebody is “chasing” something. Absolutely appalling.

Don't do trade in. No help from HONOR

I purchased a HONOR phone because of HONOR's integrated trade-in promotion, completed entirely during checkout, offering a £390 trade-in payment plus a £200 trade-in bonus. My trade-in device was received, inspected and validated by HONOR's trade-in partner, Recommerce, who confirmed the £390 value and stated payment had been processed. However, I never received the payment. After discovering my bank does not accept international transfers, I promptly provided alternative bank details, including an IBAN, but the issue remains unresolved and not even sure if that was the problem. Recommerce has been unable or unwilling to provide a payment reference, transfer trace, proof of payment, or confirmation of what happened to the funds. My bank details were copied directly from my banking app, so I know they were entered correctly. It was also not made clear that Recommerce is a French company. As the device was sent to a UK address, I reasonably assumed the trade-in process was UK-based. Therefore Small Claims Court is not possible. Most disappointing has been HONOR's response. Despite the trade-in promotion being advertised and completed as part of the HONOR purchase process, HONOR has declined to take ownership of the issue and simply referred me back to Recommerce, who stopped responding. HONOR say they are unable to communicate directly with their own trading partner I remain without the £390 payment while my trade-in device has been retained. A company should stand behind the promotions it uses to secure sales and support customers when problems arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I will happily update this review if HONOR helps resolve the issue. If not, this review will remain unchanged. UPDATE 23/10/26: after many more emails directly with Recommerce (no help from HONOR) and a Recommerce review they confirmed the payment was rejected and got me to re-enter with IBAN. I got the payment today. I don't know if it's because Chase UK don't accept international payments but for anyone who go through HONOR I would recommend perhaps using a standard large bank. HONOR only asked for UK bank and sort number so confusing. You need to be persistent if anything goes wrong otherwise you won't get your money. Updated to 2 stars because experience wasn't a great one but glad it's over and like the new phone, just wouldn't recommend trade in.

Formal complaint regarding a serious and recurring call quality issue with my HONOR Magic V6, purchased in July 2026.

Formal complaint regarding a serious and recurring call quality issue with my HONOR Magic V6, purchased in July 2026. 1. Description of the Problem Since purchasing the phone, I have experienced this problem on more than 150 occasions. During regular phone calls, my voice suddenly becomes distorted, interrupted, or completely inaudible to the person I am speaking with. This may happen after one, two, or three minutes, or randomly at any point during a conversation. Although the issue does not occur during every call, its frequency makes the phone increasingly unreliable. To document the problem, I arranged for a conversation to be recorded using another phone. The video and audio recording clearly demonstrate the poor call quality and interruptions in my voice. 2. My Experience with HONOR Technical Support I initially visited an HONOR retail and technical support point in Doha, followed by further contact with HONOR customer service and the complaints department. Unfortunately, my experience with technical support was disappointing. The technician performed a brief test lasting approximately two minutes, with the assistance of a colleague. Based on this limited test, he initially informed me that there was no apparent problem with the microphone, software, or hardware. However, I insisted that the issue was real and provided the recorded video demonstrating the interrupted and distorted audio. After reviewing this evidence, the technician suggested that the issue might be related to network coverage in certain areas of Qatar. He later recommended uninstalling and reinstalling the phone's software. I found these explanations inconsistent, particularly as no comprehensive or documented technical investigation had been carried out. The technician subsequently asked me to leave my phone at the service centre for several days. Given the limited testing, conflicting explanations, and absence of a written technical report, I was not comfortable accepting this arrangement. The complaints department also contacted me several times, requesting that I leave the phone at the technical service centre for several days. As a customer who purchased an expensive, premium smartphone, I expected a more professional, thorough, and transparent approach. Unfortunately, these experiences have significantly affected my confidence in the technical support provided. To date, no clear or satisfactory solution has been offered. 3. My Formal Requests In light of these circumstances, I respectfully request that HONOR Qatar: 1. Replace my HONOR Magic V6 with a new device. Given the repeated communication failures, inconsistent technical explanations, lack of sufficiently thorough investigation, and disappointing customer service experience, I believe this is a reasonable and appropriate resolution. Unfortunately, the handling of my complaint so far has seriously affected my confidence in the reliability of the phone and the technical conclusions provided. 4. Conclusion Based on my very disappointing experience, I cannot recommend HONOR Magic V6. I strongly advise potential customers to carefully consider the device's reliability and HONOR's after-sales support before purchasing.

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service They lost my phone while returning it after repair and cannot solve the problem by replacing it. They've been investigating and trying to find it for 2 months. All I'm now asking for is a replacement phone and some compensation for the 2 months I've been affected - but I feel like I'm getting AI generated replies. Disgraceful

Bought 2 tablets

Bought 2 tablets, 2 earbuds, portable fan, and speaker pro. Verdict: Battery life garbage and becoming the new annoying part like Samsung as soon as they whiff money. They oversell the specs but completely underdeliver. Last product I'll ever buy from them when they wanted my location to connect the speaker pro settings via the honor spaces app. Nope we don't want your Bluetooth connection we want your credit card pin number, blood type, your passport, your deeds the lot.

I noticed a bug In honor 400 PRO…

I noticed a bug In honor 400 PRO Video-editing. I was stupid and reported it To customer service, send clear screenrecord-video and everything. Now solving this bug has became MY fullday jo without any paycheks. Piece of an advice, if you notice a bug in honor devices, just try To live with it. I promise you its gonna be a hundred times easier. EDIT: Their "customer service" atleast here in Finland must be full AI. All they, or it, does is that it asks me perform same tasks again and again no matter what I tell them. Absolutely no chance that human could be that stupid.

Honor 400, guarentee

I submitted my Honor 400 device to the Ankara Kızılay branch of KVK Technical Service—the official authorized warranty provider—on August 24, 2026, requesting a back cover replacement. Although more than 20 business days have passed, my phone has neither been repaired nor delivered back to me. Following this delay, I contacted Honor customer service both via email and by phone three times, requesting a brand-new replacement device due to the failure to complete the repair within the 20-business-day statutory limit. I was repeatedly told that "a response is awaited from the higher team"; however, despite today being September 27, 2026, I have still received no update whatsoever. Furthermore, when I mentioned that I would apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee, I was met with the response, "In that case, you will wait for its outcome and we won't get back to you"—a statement I perceive as a subtle threat and a tactic aimed at intimidation. I have suffered significant hardship both from the breach of the legally mandated service timeframe and from this unprofessional approach. Due to the failure to complete the repair of my device within 20 business days, I demand the immediate replacement of my Honor 400 device with a brand-new unit and its prompt delivery to me. Additionally, I have been forced to use an old, faulty phone for over a month, and I was not even provided with a temporary loaner device; I have been utterly miserable throughout this process. Honor has shown complete disregard for all the trouble I have experienced. 2602900848 form number

Honor Choice Pencil

Honor Choice Pencil atrociously expensive for such poor quality. flimsy plasticky feel, light in a way that feels unofficial— the power button is single-function and unfriendly to artists that would like to use it in software. not to mention the biggest issue, HOVER-WRITING. It's extremely annoying and inconvenient for taking notes and drawing when the pen is writing before even touching the screen. Obviously there is a consistent defect in pressure sensors or whatever, for the price it has— its dissappointing and I hope this review encourages a better design that doesn't ghost-write and actually gives functional buttons.

The worst customer service I have experienced from a major brand

My HONOR foldable phone developed a serious inner-screen failure, including a black line, constant flickering and extensive screen leakage. The phone can no longer be used normally. HONOR rejected my warranty claim after its repair centre identified some scratches, hinge wear, a small frame dent and an alleged mark on the inner screen. However, neither HONOR nor the repair centre has explained which mark actually caused the screen failure or provided convincing technical evidence connecting the two. The customer service has been appalling. I repeatedly asked clear and reasonable questions about the inspection, measurements, diagnostic tests and possible manufacturing or hinge-related defects. Instead of answering them, customer-service representatives repeatedly sent generic replies stating only that “physical damage” had been found. I requested a management-level review, hoping that somebody senior would properly examine the evidence. Unfortunately, the manager simply repeated the same decision, relied entirely on the repair centre’s report and directed me back to the repair centre for information that HONOR itself was relying upon to reject my claim. It felt as though nobody was willing to take responsibility or genuinely investigate the problem. The responses were repetitive, dismissive and failed to address the central issue. My request is very simple: I only want to be able to use my HONOR phone normally. I am not asking for anything unreasonable—only a proper assessment and an appropriate repair so that an expensive phone can function as it should. Both the product reliability and HONOR’s after-sales service have been deeply disappointing. I would not buy another HONOR phone and cannot recommend the brand based on this experience. I am now taking the matter to Advice Direct Scotland.

Horrible experience—sent a damaged phone and zero customer support

I am extremely disappointed with Honor's customer service, specifically my experience dealing with an agent named Firas.I ordered a brand-new Honor 400 phone, but the day it arrived, it was already chipped from the corner. It strongly felt like a refurbished phone sold to me as new. Because I am a single mother managing multiple hospital and doctor appointments for my children, I desperately needed a working phone immediately, so I had to set it up.When I sent pictures of the damage to customer services to ask for advice, their handling of the situation showed a complete lack of understanding and compassion:No advance replacement: They refused to send a replacement first so I wouldn't be left without a phone. No refund flexibility: I offered to buy a second phone and return the damaged one for a refund. They refused, stating it was "exchange only".No compensation: They refused to offer any partial refund or discount for the inconvenience of sending a faulty, damaged device. It feels like they purposefully make the process impossible so you are forced to keep a damaged phone. I strongly recommend avoiding Honor. They are selling refurbished phones as brand-new and offer zero real customer service when things go wrong.

Had a Watch from Honor store which I…

Had a Watch from Honor store which I got in a promotion with my Phone. The Watch was OK but it did not record the calories correctly. So I spoke to Honor and they told me to send it back and they technical would look at it. No they didn't. Told me had no more in stock. Also onle 2 in stock on website only 2 which 1 is a man's and another which I would after paid some money towards. They reimburse me with £30 which is only valid till the end of Sept. Not acceptable. Now they are going to send me the watch back so proplem not really resolved.
