Hello Jade, We can completely understand your concern about the issue you've faced.  Please note that SSL cannot be installed in our URL Redirect servers. Due to the fact, HTTPS will not work for the redirect domain unless it has a hosting and have SSL installed separately.  Therefore, redirecting with a secure connection (HTTPS) is only possible to a different destination domain (e.g.  http://www.domain.tld to  https://www.anotherdomain.tld).   We have also passed your feedback to the concerning team. So, the option might be implemented in the future. Still, we do not have any ETA on the implementation. We recommend the workaround provided by our support team via email. Best regards, Namecheap Team
