I am a proud owner of an Atom 2, and Potensic has made entry into this hobby a fun and educational experience! Their drones are easy to fly, and the images captured--both still and video--are incredible. As a video editor, I especially appreciate the 4K P-LOG format, which offers a ton of flexibility when color-grading to match footage from other cameras in the same project.

Did not send me the cable I ordered, them tried to tell me that I actually needed a C to C instead of C to Mini B, but then they sent the right cable and then I sent a message that I had trouble with the verification code but no reply! I called the Potensic Customer Service, that was very helpful and exercised a lot of patience with me due to low volume and connection, and we were able to get the Potensic Atom 2 registered.

Atom 2: The Future of Drones in Direct Comparison with DJI
"I’ve had the chance to fly the Potensic Atom 2 for a while now. Having flown DJI drones since 2017—from the Phantom 2 and 3, through the Mavic Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom, all the way to the Mini 4 Pro—I know that DJI sets the quality standard. However, the Potensic brand truly lives up to its name, embodying the future of drones.
I put the Atom 2 to a real-world test in 50 km/h winds, and it handled a 2km return flight back to base perfectly. Yes, it cost 23% of the battery compared to the usual 6%, but it made it back safely. On another occasion, I tested the 'defog' feature, which successfully cleared the mist during a flight in nature. I’ve also flown it 4.5km away and back, and the video feed remained incredibly smooth, stable, and comparable to the OcuSync transmission quality. The stated 31-minute flight time is realistic under favorable conditions. The drone is reliable and fault-free, and the price point—both for the combo version and the solo drone—is very friendly.
I am convinced that Potensic will earn the same respect as DJI in the near future. Anyone choosing this drone as a more accessible entry point will certainly not be disappointed. While it’s not strictly necessary, as we should always remain cautious, I believe the Atom 4 will reach perfection once it adds obstacle avoidance sensors. That is the only thing missing.
Based on the preliminary info about the Atom 3, I am impressed by the design, the standard 40-minute battery, and even the 50-minute 'plus' battery. Of course, the AI features like Rocket, Circle, and Waypoints are a great addition. The 4K/60fps camera is sophisticated, comparable to the D-Log M or LUTs I use on my Mini 4 Pro. There is so much to say, but in short: this is a highly advanced, thriving drone that comfortably competes with the entry-level models of the DJI Mini series."
They made sure an order that I made a mistake on was canceled and I did receive my second order that I was waiting for the only downside was the communication was a little lacking, but once we started communicating, everything was fine.
I ordered 4 Atom2 with the PTD1 controllers, additional batteries and chargers. The order has been lost between Potensic and the shipper for 7 days. Potensic was notified and looking in to it but no answer or resolution after a week
I’ve been very impressed with the Potensic Atom 2 so far. The drone is easy to fly, stable in the air, produces excellent image quality, and offers a lot of capability for the price. My biggest recommendation to Potensic is to continue developing its mapping and surveying ecosystem, as it still lacks the mature automated mapping workflows available in DJI’s Enterprise platform. If Potensic addresses that gap, they will have an even stronger product for both hobbyists and professionals.
It’s a great drone only thing it does not have flashing (spotlights) lights on the propeller arms. Overall it's a nice drone and the price I paid is very fair price!
Won an atom 2 at a casino, took it home to charge batteries over night. Next day all the batteries are swollen and customer service wants me to pay full price for more, never even got to fly it, what a joke of a company and a joke of a product. 0/10 would never use their products out of fear of my safety.
All of the details of my new drone were in easy to find online. I liked the available payment options and my drove is beautiful! The quality was fantastic!
The drone delivers incredible flight stability and intuitive controls that make capturing cinematic footage effortless. To make it even better, upgrading the companion app's live-stream stability and streamlining the component repair turnaround would create a flawless user experience
Well, it certainly flies well in windy conditions, but it would be nice if the flight time was longer than 15-20 minutes! I headed back at 60%, but apparently against the wind so the battery ran out before I could make it all the way back. My fault entirely, lack of experience….so so close, at 9% I tried landing it but apparently the last 8% of the battery is completely dedicated for the “find my drone” feature (and not the last 50 yards needed to make it back). Fortunately it landed on a tree before dead falling to the ground another 20 feet! After replacing all the blades it still flies great, so I’d have to give 5+ stars for durability against stupidity.
