If I could give no stars at all I would!! I’d never even heard of this company until I tried to purchase something on Costco’s website last night. It directed me to a Rapyd payment company and since I’ve never shopped on Costco before, I didn’t think anything of it. Turns out, Costco has NO clue about my transaction at all and THIS COMPANY STOLE $59.39 from me under the guise of being affiliated with Costco. They may do some legitimate business with some of the consumers who purchase their services, BUT, their other way of keeping afloat is STEALING like a bunch of thugs! I’m a single mom and EVERY dollar counts for us..they don’t even care that I exist while they’re becoming millionaires off of thievery! Thanks for stepping on the little guys!

Waste of time trying to get started

After signing up and emailing their support back and forth to get things setup, it turns out a business apparently needs 2M USD minimum annual transaction volume and a 12m history. Why can this not be stated at the start before even bother with onboarding. Thanks Rapyd for wasting my time!

Just bought something from a scam website through this platform. Be aware

Dont EVER EVER use this conpany.

Dont ever ever ever use this conpany. Its one big huge scam. They dont reply to important emails. They inventing hidden fees, they stole our money after we terminate our account. Customer service is taking up to 2 weeks to reply. Dispursments is not working 1/3 of the times. DONT EVER use this frauds. Go to Stripe and get treated with dignity.

Two months and counting for the mobile game that I played to even try to get a hold of their customer service on rapid pay should’ve found a different way to transfer eww just eww

rap pay is the chosen payout method for a game that I play online I entered my banking information and no payment went through and the game reverse that one so I entered my banking information again make sure it was right and tried to cash out $300 but I never hit my account again so I inquired with the provider it’s been two months. They have no answers for me. They say that rapid pay hasn’t gotten back to them to get a hold of the provider and I’m just out of luck and that they may or may not reverse the transfer even though it hasn’t hit my bank account and I proven this so if you are mobile platform, you’re looking to know everything I’ve read everywhere says your customer service is absolute crap.

Scammers!

Scammers! There were fraudulent credit card transactions with a total value of over USD 6K. Rapyd's 2FA had not worked, yet still there were hundreds of small card transactions. After half a year of writing back and forth a meagre USD 1.6k were refunded, rather than all of the transactions voided. "Not our problem" was basically their answer. Avoid at all cost. Go with Statrys or another payment provider, but do NOT use Rapyd! Scammers! They will probably reply "sorry that our service wasn't up to par, but we're learning every time, etc. etc.", but ultimately they don't do anything. Thieves. Is there anyone else with a similar experience with Rapyd? Perhaps join forces and sue them?

How are these guys licensed?

Their CSV exports do not include transfer destinations, or even descriptions. Their UI is horrendous. Click every single individual transaction to find out some sort of details. Good luck to you and your accountant, using this "platform" for more than 1 transaction per month is going to be a time killer. For the ridiculous monthly fee of 99 US$ you can get yourselves into a world of headaches. After telling them you want to close your account, they will start a survey, which if you ignore, will continue charging the monthly fee!!! I never thought something could get even worse than PayPal.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Rapyd. The customer service is terrible; they are unresponsive and unhelpful. Despite following all instructions, I faced repeated issues with payments being delayed or failing entirely. Their fees are also higher than expected, with hidden charges that were not clearly communicated. Recently they introduced a 1000€/$ blocked balance which can be bad for your business. I do not recommend Rapyd to anyone looking for a reliable payment solution.

Avoid at all cost!

We have been using Rapyd for a few years since their the only option we have in my country. This is by far the worst service and worst-managed company I have ever witnessed. They've made numerous mistakes and 1 and a half year later we are waiting for answers or resolution. Avoid at all costs because whatever your circumstances, Rapyd is not worth it. Delivering paper money by mail would be more efficient then to have to deal with them.

Worst customer service on the planet

Worst customer service on the planet. Over 2 months since I signed up. Back and forth with CS with very long waits. Countless hours on forms and emails. I still don't have an active account! I've waited 10 days since my last email which was just "Can you tell me what is happening with my account setup". AVOID at all costs.

I used their service for 2 years

I used their service for 2 years, then suddenly they stopped approving my clients' transactions. I spent months with support trying to fix it without success. Then I realized that Rapyd was not interested in me as a client since my volume of transactions was low. So, I closed my account and requested to withdraw the remaining balance. I received only part of the amount, and 40% of my balance was retained as a fee without any explanation. I feel robbed by this company, and there is nothing I can do.

Even 1 star is much too generous to give to Rapyd. I've filed their theft with the Singapore police, MAS, and now even with the Small Claims Tribunal, also in Singapore. Catch this -- I even went to their office (flew in from Bangkok) to try and settle the hack. I left the office thinking I would get my 14,000 USD dollars back within a week. But no, 3 weeks later and not even an email update. Full on joke. Am going to Singapore again to meet with them at the end of the month. This time I simply cannot be as pleasant as I was last time.

Rapyd are a worst payment gateway…

Rapyd are a worst payment gateway service. Avoid it at any cost. We have been their customer since 2022. We started with very low processing rate of .5% which looked attractive at the time. All of sudden from April 2023 we started to notice the charges went up to 1.9% +10p without prior notice. After contacting customer service they sent a generic document which we never signed up to so we agreed to continue as it seemed still competitive. A mega surprise was waiting for us when we saw a charge for over £600 effective at 1st of May without any explanation and its categorised as Monthly Platform fees. We are in the middle of cancelling our service and I would never recommend this payment gateway to anyone. There are far better payment gateway services out there instead if using this fraudulent company who sneaks in charges without prior notice or have to get a written consent. We are also going to report this company to authorities and challenge these unauthorised charges.

Hopeless

Impossible to get a hold of anyone to receive basic confirmations regarding account information and updates. All we need is an email confirmation of our balance at a certain date and I've been pushed around in circles for months speaking with Justin, Natalia, Praveen and others. Baffles me that a company can struggle so much with such a basic task.

Rapyd EU is an israhelli payment service provider that scams people with unauthorized account debits! Most likely to finance the ongoing genocide. To get your money back search for "monetary authority of singapore contact". Click on "GET STARTED" and choose "I want to report a suspected scam.". At some point you will come across a contact form. Just horrible service in general

Just horrible service in general, don't like how they've made their credit card readers hide their identity cause how they are a company from Israel and how this just started when IDF soliders started to bomb innocent civilians in Hamas territory Gaza, condemning Hamas actions that do no justice i also feel no terrorism will justify the bloodstains that sit on society and justice right now by the hands of Israel. Rapyd hiding their identity just right after this seems just too controversial by my own standards and personal morality :)
