The tripod is excellent brilliant…

Having placed the below review I was contacted by Smallrig with a complete apology for what happened They were taken by surprise by the £89.98 tax duty and immediately set into motion repaying the fee and have to say they were excellent. I honestly believe they had no idea this was happening but they stepped up and sorted it out. Excellent customer relations can’t praise them enough for their prompt action. The tripod is excellent brilliant fluidity in the head and very good sturdy tripod The major problem I had was my surprise when I got an email and text from DHL to say I still had to pay an extra £89.98 on tax duty So ended up being a lot dearer tripod than I actually bought from Smallrig unfortunately any more larger items I’ll have to source from more local companies

I feel the product is somewhat…

I feel the product is somewhat overpriced for the quality it delivers auditionlly, the packing arrived in terrible condition. The box was severally torn and covered in layers of tape, which didn’t look good at all .

Reliable Power, Professional Results: My VB99 Experience

The ordering process was easy

The ordering process was easy, and communication was great from start to finish. They responded quickly whenever I had a question and kept everything simple. I’m very happy with the quality of my new iPhone cage rig and the overall experience.

Support and delivery excellent

Support and delivery excellent. Got the item at my home address within 4 workdays (formal delivery time is 5-7 workdays). Product looks nice but have not been in the field yet.

It's built solid

It's built solid, button feels tactile and not rattly, holds camera and battery firmly. Grip feels good and the strap is great, I've walked around Portugal for almost a week with it round my neck like a tourist and it's been useful for quick shots, and throwing to the kids at the beach without fear of breaking it. Amazing accessory for turning and already solid camera platform into an all rounder. Delivered a day early, speedy and plenty of updates, arrived really well packaged in eco packaging.

Brilliant design n concept delivered with great value

I've tested the clamps and the arms, how easy to configure and attaching it several fixtures like the back of chairs and existing lamps, the find the design n concept brilliant. I'm confident that when I start doing test shoots, it will deliver. Similarly, the tabletop tripod provides height options, much like the large models, it will be great for my key light. As for the P96 and 40w led lights with fully adjustable kelvin temp, diffusers, n lighting effects, this will help me with my studies related to product photography n understanding use of artificial lights. Lastly the RF05B with its accessories for special effects with greatly enhance my studies on light. I'm a landscape/seascape/travel photographer, with these SmallRig tools, i can expand to another genre. Brilliant product design n concept.

Great quality, terrific range, smart packaging and fast delivery

I'm very impressed with the Smallrig Aluminum Panoramic Ball Head - the lowest I could find on the 'net and it pairs perfectly with my groundpod. Whether on a flat beach or steeply angled on a riverbank my 2.5 kg camera and lens are stable and the ball head adjusts to just enough drag to allow smooth repositioning. It's also so light I don't notice the weight. Beautiful machining. The Rapid Link Connectors with Base allow me to tether the camera with a strap without rigid 'tape' of conventional straps finding its way into the wrong place. I'd dismissed buying a whole strap with this kind of connector from another manufacturer - it was 15 times the price and I'd lose the use of my investment in a heavy duty neoprene strap. Packing was minimal and perfectly adequate and the the products were dispatched surprisingly quickly.

Quick delivery

Quick delivery. Items really helpful, although there are limited options for professional "big" Nikon cameras. I'm doing more macros now an I'm happy with the extra lights and camera cages to mount some additonal things. Extra energy power still needs to be tested

Very new to gear

By no means am I profession. I've been working on a little solo project, a YouTube sci-fi series. I needed some gear to get get me to more of an above average production value. I only use my iPhone 17pro, but the 1.33 anamorphic lens, the smallrig flagship cage, the smallrig NP-F battery and plate, the magic arms, the 10C light with gobos have really helped me raise the quality of my work. I appreciate the build quality. Nothing feels cheap and feels like it will last. Shipping was fast and efficient and earning point to get coupons and such is also a nice touch. Can't wait to get a big V Mount batter and not have to use my anker power station.

Excellent item

As always, excellent quality. Easy to handle and well made. A great product. It feels like a high-quality item and I’m looking forward to using it. I’m convinced it will serve me reliably. The only downside to my purchase was that the parcel was held up at custom service because the description of the contents on the declaration form was too vague. This led to extra hassle and delays. There were no additional costs.

After researching accessories for my recently purchased Sony RX100 M7 I came across the SmallRig L-Shaped Wooden Grip. It looked great and the reviews of it were excellent. The purchasing experience via the site was straightforward and communication by SmallRig post purchase and during delivery was excellent.
