Ordered a Speediance at 29 July at the…

Ordered a Speediance at 29 July at the distributor in Italy but now 19 th September still nothing received . They told me that fist delivery would be end of august but i went away for 2 weeks and it would be delivered in my holiday. Communication with the European distributor is really crap. I want money back i don’t trust it anymore…

I was looking for a home gym sick of the gym but I needed a compact gym it was between speediance and the competition I took a chance with speediance and I have never regretted it. They built a solid machine and they keep doing updates I'll notice a little not as smooth in the cable coming out before I have to contact them it's fixed they keep doing updates the only thing I wish this had was a reset in the rep counter every time you finished the set.

I'm in love with my Speediance Gym Monster! It's compact, fits perfectly in my living room, and offers gym-quality workouts without the gym hassle. The versatility is astounding—I can hit every muscle group at home. And the smart weight system? Genius! It lets me adjust the weight effortlessly, making each workout seamless. No more gym fees! I have the freedom to exercise whenever I please. The Speediance Gym Monster has revolutionized my home gym setup, and I couldn't be more satisfied with this health investment.

The Speediance arrived broken

The Speediance arrived broken. The right arm pulley didn't move and there was an error code on the screen, that Speediance said was a broken motor or drive board. Seems like serious issues for a new, expensive exercise machine. All customer service did, after taking DAYS to respond to multiple emails requesting a reply, or not responding at all, was tell me to self-repair and send videos of how to. One screw was too tight to remove without efforts that might damage the machine, and they kept telling me to take out the screw and that they would send a replacement screw, ignoring the screw wouldn't remove. They did not say it would be okay to use a screw extraction kit on it. They did offer to replace the machine after about 50 emails from me, at least 40 of which were ignored, but were non-responsive to my request to return. As this was ongoing, they changed their website information to say you must have photos of the PAPER BOX the 286 lb machine comes in that is undamaged to return or replace it if it arrives broken- this was not the original policy at time of purchase. I had set up to pay through Affirm, who effectively resolved the issue for me (they are amazing) by discharging the loan, after which Speediance finally stated I could return it for a refund. If they responded in hours, or at all, it would have been an improvement. They also only do threshold delivery, meaning to your doorstep, so living on a second floor condo without an elevator, every time a broken machine arrived I would have to pay a mover as it is big and heavy; the costs would add up and I have no trust in the company based on sending a non-functional machine and really, really lousy customer service. It would also be really hard to remove the 286 lb machine from the paper box without causing any damage to the paper box.

Horrible company

I ordered the gym Monster Works Plus with an adjustable bench. The website says it arrives in 10-15 days. It arrived a few weeks late without my adjustable bench. I keep getting the runaround, and it's now been over a month and a half, and they have not sent the bench or a refund. They keep giving excuses and tell me oh we’re finally getting our warehouse caught up.... and then I still dont have the bench. Update: it arrived months later. Gym works great.

I ordered my machine and was told 10-15 days. 25 days later no machine hey when are you guys sending my machine out? Maybe in two more weeks they said… N.O.P.E. I want a refund please and thank you.

Transformative Experience

I was a Kickstarter backer for Speediance. I initially had my reservations, and I ended up pulling the trigger. That was one of the most exercise transformative decisions I ever made. The machine has been a very effective resistance training tool, and I use it almost daily. The reason for this effectiveness is the ease in the ability to increase or decrease resistance, the ability to combine eccentric and chain modes in my workouts, and the surprisingly good exercise videos, which are very easy to follow. Build Quality: This has been excellent. I have had no problems with the main machine except when I had Bluetooth connectivity issues with the exercise handles—more on the problems I had with Bluetooth connectivity are below. Software: The experience has been great. There was a software overhaul and a refreshed interface. The experience improved heavily based on the company's feedback from the Facebook group. Customer Support: This went from lackluster to excellent in my experience. The company promptly replaced some missing parts of my rowing attachment and replaced my Bluetooth handles with the recently released Bluetooth ring when their Bluetooth connectivity worsened. According to the company, new Bluetooth handles are currently in development and scheduled to be released soon. Also, based on other people's experiences, I am confident that if any issue should arise with my machine, they will promptly help me get it fixed. My cons - No voice control. I wish I could say, “Hi, Speediance, set the weight to 40 LB.” - The platform is heavy. It locks in place when raised and lowers after pressing a release button. A Hydraulic to slow down the platform's descent would have been marvelous. I also wished the platform was a little longer. Most aftermarket benches are often longer than the platform. - I wish more “smarts” were added to the software, slightly lowering the weight to allow you to complete a rep and slightly increasing it in real-time when it detects that the weight is light based on your speed and effort. Yes, there's a spotter mode, but what I described above differs. So far, the Speediance is an all-around resistance training machine with excellent build quality, support, and software without a subscription currently.

Gym Monster is the best investment I did in 2023 that only keeps giving more

I got my Speediance Gym Monster around Halloween 2023, so as I write this review it's nearly 6 months that I have been using the machine for my strength training. So far 6000 minutes of total workout, nearly a million pounds of workout volume, using it 4-6 days a week since purchase. I can't say enough good things about it. So many things have changed in my lifestyle, health and strength - I have a lot more desire to workout. The convenience of just using the large-sized touchscreen display to configure what I want to do, and it's just the cables and one accessory for the type of workout I'm doing makes all excuses to workout go away. I work from home, so I find myself adding a 1 15-30-45 min workout here in there. I have an audiobook/podcast to listen to ? How about adding a quick workout for that specific muscle during that time? It's just that easy for me. Tap tap, connect accessory and get to workout. No plates, no free weights. Now that I am 6 months in, I have also seen so many updates to the software after taking feedback from the community, including ideas I sent it myself. Pretty cool, because it can only get better from here as they have shown they're highly interested in taking ideas and executing them. So many updates so far. When I made the decision to purchase, and comparing with others, I didn't want another monthly subscription. I already pay for two other fitness companies for Peloton and Aviron, I wasn't looking for more. And Speediance gave/is giving lifetime membership. I never felt this looking forward to workout as I am now after a long time of lack of motivation for strength training. These six months have been amazing and it's cool that I can do progressive overload myself with high precision of how many pounds I want to. Also simplifies pyramiding. It's pretty annoying to do this with free weights, right? Looking forward to another six months of more workouts.

Game Changer - The Speediance Gym Monster

The Speediance Gym Monster has been a fitness game changer for me. I had a real problem getting motivated to hit the gym, for a whole host of reasons. The Speediance Gym Monster eliminated all of those barriers instantaneously. Not only that, but it provides me with a truly solid work out. It's well built, mobile, and takes up little to no space when folded up in my little apartment. I had been interested in Tonal, but wasn't keen on paying over $5000 and a monthly subscription fee that was more than most gym memberships. Plus you have to mount the thing on your wall, and then it's stuck there forever. So no Tonal for me. Then I came across the Speediance Gym Monster on Facebook and I was immediately impressed. Everything from the design, portability and software spoke to me. That, and it was substantially cheaper than Tonal, with NO MEMBERSHIP FEES! I did what research I could, but as it's a newer company and product there was only so much I could do. I was a little nervous, but in the end I went for it, and I couldn't be happier that I did. The machine is amazing, and after using it for almost a year I've completely transformed my body. Even when I injured my arm at work (I'm an RN), I was able to use it for Physical Therapy exercises that helped me heal and recover faster. As for Speediance itself, the company is still growing, but it's growing fast and is pretty dynamic. What I love is how interactive the development team is with the user community. There is an official Facebook Group, which is an amazing community and resource in itself (didn't know about it when I was researching). Through the Facebook group the Speediance administrators and programmers interact with the users, getting feedback and taking requests for new features. Usually a bunch of people rally behind a new function or feature and then boom, Speediance has sent an update to your Gym Monster with the new features. Of course, they can't take every suggestion, and some take longer than others, but they get it done. I've been amazed at how much the user community has contributed to the machine's development in less than 1 year. The administrators, programmers and reps are really responsive and help trouble shoot pretty much anything you run into. Is Speediance as a company perfect? Of course not, they're young, there are always some growing pains. But their hearts are in the right place. They support their customers and value them tremendously. Most importantly, they build an amazing product. I would recommend Speediance to anyone who wants to get serious about their fitness, or even for someone who just wants to get started on a more casual fitness journey. You can be a complete beginner or a seasoned trainer, it doesn't matter, the machine performs for all levels. The more you grow, the more it grows with you. My Speediance Gym Monster is some of the best money I ever spent. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

A Phenomenal Work of Art

I've been using the Speediance Gym Monster for about a month, and it's exactly what I wanted in a digital home gym. Before making my decision, I compared it to the Vitruvian and Tonal. The shipping was fast—I received my order within a week, although delivery times may vary based on location. The customer service team was prompt and helpful post-purchase. The machine itself is sleek, portable, and operates smoothly. The flat bench included in the Speediance Works package is somewhat wobbly, despite being lightweight and easy to maneuver. For certain exercises, the incline bench, which is part of another package, might be a preferable option. The variety of professionally led workout programs cater to all levels, featuring a free lift mode and an excellent selection of music. However, it lacks specific features like warmup sets and supersets. A significant advantage over competitors is the free lifetime membership, and the ability to use the machine in free lift mode offline. The spotter/assist mode is a helpful feature, though it could be more intuitive, eliminating the need to pause at the start or end of a motion. Users can create and share custom workout templates, adding to the machine's versatility. It's also a plus that wall mounting isn't necessary. On the downside, the software could use enhancements in areas such as movement progression tracking, timeout settings, rep ranges, weight modes for drop sets, voice activation, and a progressive overload setting for workouts. While there are workarounds for some issues, raised frequently by the Speediance community, the inability to customize existing workout programs is a notable limitation. However, I'm optimistic about future software updates. The equipment itself is excellent for maintaining motivation and achieving fitness goals. The Facebook community is active and engaging, with regular challenges and giveaways. As long as you manage your expectations, you'll likely be very satisfied with your purchase. It offers up to 220lbs of digital weight, though some users have maxed out on certain exercises like deadlifts during strength assessments. There have been a few hardware issues reported, but Speediance has been quick to send out replacement parts. It's worth noting that essential accessories like barbell hooks and extender belts are sold separately and can be pricey. Also, some users like the bluetooth ring while others do not. I recommend requesting a virtual or in-person demo to ensure the Gym Monster meets your needs for a smart digital home gym. I couldn't be happier with Speediance.

I LOVE my Speediance Gym Monster

I LOVE my Speediance Gym Monster. This little beauty takes up very little floorspace while providing a ton of gym level exercises all in my house! The only two exercises I can't do are leg press and pull ups but that's it. The smart weight system is amazing. I can turn the weight on and off with a touch of a button on the ring so it isn't heavy until I'm good in position. The spotter system increases safety when working out alone exponentially. The moment it detects them I'm not moving, it automatically starts lowering the weight value until it can tell I'm lifting again. Awesome system and NO MEMBERSHIP FEES!

Great purchase with good customer service

I purchased directly from the website late 2023. Like many others at that time, shipping was delayed however their customer service was very responsive. The machine (gym monster) is phenomenal and a huge value at its price point. The Facebook group is very active, including their customer support reps. The company keeps upgrading the machine and providing new accessories, sometimes for free (by completing challenges). I highly recommend the product to everyone.

Horrible customer service

While this piece of exercise equipment seems to be fairly cutting edge, the company has a long ways to go in terms of customer service. This is a Chinese-based company. There’s nothing wrong with that, but is it is impossible to speak with a live person. Their chat feature is simply horrible. It takes several hours to receive a response via chat. The chat messenger inadvertently shuts down when you finally get a live agent, and there is no customer service number on their website to call. So, if you have any shipping or technical issues, this will not be resolved in an expedited fashion. I placed an order for a speediance machine 11 days ago. Their website says that most shipments are received within 7 to 10 days. My my order has not yet been shipped and I can’t get a good explanation as to why. This is incredibly frustrating. I tried canceling my order via chat, but again, is it possible to talk to a live agent.
