Overall great experience, from check in to the restaurant, the cabin and the atmosphere well done. The rafting trip was great. THANK you Captain Jack Sweeny, not only was Jack great but it felt like he was a part of our group from the start. We have been rafting in three other states and by far you all are on top. Thank you

Best time of every Fall season is spent with my extended family at AOTG. Gauley River and Gravity Zips are the most exciting things I look forward to every year.

My whole family had a great time on the gorge.
The family rafted the Lower New River…
The family rafted the Lower New River and went on the the TreeTop Zipline. The guides did a great job (as usual) with keeping us feeling safe and comfortable. They were out going which helps a lot. We had two teenagers, so I thought the jokes could have been a little cleaner and they kept saying that we were a 'good' group and that some of the groups are not. Why say that? We stayed in a Sunnyside cabin. The cabin needs another door for a changing room. The wood floors needed to be swept. We bought the dinner and next day breakfast at Smokey's. It was well worth the investment.

Due to health issue had to cancel my trip. However, Customer service was outstanding with respect to assistance with helping to cancel with a full refund and no charges! definetly will reschedule my gourge rafting trip for thesummer of 2021!!!
Great Guides, Great Activities, Great Time
We had an absolute blast at Adventures on the Gorge, our guides were talented thoughtful and made it just such a special adventure for us. Our family is looking forward to trying to make this an annual adventure and can't wait to come back.

You guys were great in giving three…
You guys were great in giving three novices their first taste of Whitewater rafting. The introduction, instructions on using the equipment, and things that might be encountered were very helpful. The guide was top notch and gave us what we needed to know about each of the rapids. He told us what needed to be done if we fell out. We hope to do it again. The whole resort area was impressive. The next time we come we plan on renting a cabin with your company.

Fun experience
My daughter and her best friend went this past Saturday. It was raining but they both loved it. They did have a couple of issues. 1) there was no staff in the concessions stand and they were very thirsty afterwards. 2) There was a potential for eye injury with the zipline gear that could be prevented with a helmet. Communication was excellent and constant. They would definitely do it again.
