Weekend at the Gorge

We did 2 adventures... white water rafting and zipline... both were so much fun! All guides were very knowledgeable and funny! We'll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic Family Adventures and fun

Fantastic Family Adventures and fun, helpful guides. My 12 and 14 year old paddled the duckies on their own down the river and my 8 year old rode down the river withe me. The guides had fun games to play as well as guide us down easy or more rapid paths. Perfect adventure for the whole family.

First time white water rafting and…

First time white water rafting and doing the ski lines. Had a blast. Highly recommend. Covid friendly place other than bars closed at 10.

Our New River trip exceeded our…

Our New River trip exceeded our expectations. Our guide Thomas was the best! He really made the trip as fun as it was. Admittedly I was nervous at first, and was hoping the guide would have some mercy (ha!). Thomas never made me feel bad for being a little nervous, and was extremely encouraging. He was also just a fun guy to hang out with for the day. The Adventures on the Gorge setup is pretty impressive too. Smooth check-in procedures, coffee shop, nice gift shop, a restaurant, and a huge patio. Really liked the cold adult beverages at the end! Well worth the time & money. We definitely plan to go again.

2 Day Gauley River Overnight

2 Day Gauley River Overnight PROS The rafting adventure experience was epic from beginning to end. Our guide Wiik was world class and a pleasure to be around. The chef prepared food on the trip was excellent! The overall experience was terrific. There were hot showers at the campsite and unlimited fire wood. CONS The video which was available for purchase was triple the cost of other (lengthier) videos we got and the quality was not up to standard and much shorter than the previous videos we got for one day trips. That felt a bit advantageous and unfair. The trip is not inexpensive and perhaps the video could be included as a complimentary addition.

Amazing river rafting

We had lot of fun in river rafting and our guide is humorous person so time went by so fast and we didn’t realise that we spent 6 hours in river.They also provided healthy lunch on river shore and it was really nice feeling to eat food on the river shore.
