Lots of fun!!
5th time and yet another charm
Seemingly every time I raft the Gauley, it’s a better time than the last. This trip was no exception. River guide Ethan steered us into some epic hits all day long. The deluxe overnight accommodations at Canyon Doors campsite were brilliant as usual. It was a bit of a bummer that the hot tubs we’re there (thanks, COVID!), but outside of that, camp was perfect.
Great spot for family fun
Great spot for family fun. We rafted all day on new river and did treetop zipline. Thanks to Scott on the rafting a Liz on the treetops. But all the staff is outstanding. Was our second time here.
We had a great time
We had a great time. So great full that Rob Ho was our raft leader. Planning on coming back next fall. The only bummer was there was no hot water in the shower.

The facility impressed our group as much as the October big cfm water release. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I will not hesitate to return to visit next summer.

We loved our first trip to the Gorge and plan to return! Everyone was hospitable, our canin was clean and convenient, and the pool was awesome.

Great trip. JV was a the best guide. Really enjoyed his humor. He took us on some amazing lines! My sons are hooked. We’ll be back.

Lana and Liz were excellent! It was raining and my granddaughter was scared. I didn't think she would finish the course. But Liz and Lana talked her through it. Excellent guides!

Amazing experience that I hope to repeat!
The staff, guides, videographers, drivers, they were all amazing!! I was a little nervous before we got in the water, but once we got in the river and hearing how prepared the guides were all nerves went away. We also had great boat mates, a group of fathers and sons from PA. Seeing what a great bonding experience it was for them was an added bonus! We stayed at the campsite, which is A+++ Thank you to Adventures on the Gorge for the great experience.

This was my first time & it was so much fun! Our guide had the most amazing personality and tons of helpful and insightful things to share. We went as a family for my bro-in-law's b-day. I felt safe and had a blast! Can't wait to do it again!

Quite displeased with the beginner…
Quite displeased with the beginner kayaking adventure. That whole offering needs to be looked at again and re-done. Complete waste of time and money. I am happy discuss more over a phone call.
GREAT EXPERIENCE!!
This was my husband and my first experience with white water rafting. The guides were excellent about explaining all aspects. It was challenging, adrenaline rushing and lots of fun!!

A group of friends stayed in a deluxe cabin. The accomadations were amazing. Very Clean and had everything you need. We had a white water rafting trip on the New River which are guide was informative and fun. We then went tree-line ziplining and the 2 guides we had were aweseome. The staff are friendly, imformative and alot of fun. We loved it and are planning on coming back next year again. I highly recommed this to anyone. Plenty to do and a great facility.

Fantastic in every way!
This was not mine or my son’s first time on the Gauley, but this year we brought along 4 friends to do the Gauley River Overnighter trip. As usual, it was fantastic and all 4 new guys went home to tell of their wonderful adventures as well as to express a willingness to return with even more people. A special shout-out to our guide Ara Marine! She was honest about her knowledge of the river and rapids and we trusted her completely ; in turn she respected our abilities and the knowledge that those of us who had run the river had, and we had a perfect trip. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the girl in the gift shop was rude about the face masks. Everything else was great. I enjoyed my experience very much.
