Successful repair of 4000 watt inverter/charger
I worked with Mr. Angel Cruz to diagnose and fix the issue with my 4000 watt inverter/charger that unfortunately was out of warranty. Mr. Cruz quickly diagnosed and recommended the fix. I asked for and he sent an invoice for the boards I needed. The boards were delivered quickly. I chose to install the boards myself. Mr. Cruz's gave me advice on the procedure to install the boards. I was able to install the boards and fix the inverter/charger. I tested the AC input, the AC output, battery charger and inverter and all are now working fine. Thank you Mr. Cruz and AIMS for helping me fix my issue.

Our inverter in our RV caught fire
Our inverter in our RV caught fire, luckily we caught it in time. I called every inverter company on line. 25% didn't even know what inverter I would need for my rv. I got a call back the next day from aims power. The girl I talked to knew exactly the one I needed and found me a refurbished one for less then half of what the original one was. Sent me a link to purchase it. The shipping said 5 to 10 days . I got it the very next day. Waiting for the electrician to come to install it. It didn't come with instructions or a user manual so I'm not touching it.

Excellent tech support
I wish I had talked to Angel before I purchased another inverter that turned out not to work for my application. Specifically, I needed an inverter that supports bonding of the neutral to ground. The one I bought doesn't support that, and the equipment that I was trying to power with it wouldn't work. Angel immediately understood my problem and recommended an AIMS inverter that has N/G bonding, and solved my problem. If you have an inverter question, ask Angel!

Buyer Beware
I sent my inverter to AIMS for repair. When I got it back, it would not turn on. The tech told me to open it and take pictures. When he looked at the pictures he saw a ribbon cable that was not connected. I connected it and turned it on. After 2 hours it overheated. They had no idea what was wrong & tried to tell me it was my batteries. The tech relooked at the pictures and found 2 plugs that needed to be switched. Now it works fine. I asked for a partial refund and they told me since I opened it the warranty was void even though they told me to open it. Do yourself a favor and buy form someone else.

We appreciate your input sharing your experience. After speaking to our technicians about your review we have a better understanding of the situation. When inspecting your inverter, the technicians only found some loose bolts which they tightened. No components were replaced or changed during the time your inverter was in our possession. Before returning the inverter to you a full test was completed on the inverter which showed that the inverter worked as it should. Because your inverter was out of warranty before you shipped it to us and was fully tested to work correctly before shipping, we cannot offer any refunds. We’re sorry that this is not the resolution you had hoped for.

K. Gaines 5/28/2025 I am unfamiliar with solar system technology. I bought a 100Amp charge controller from Aims Power. I called for technical assistance. Angel has been very helpful and professional in helping me with my problems. I highly recommend him and his company. Especially if you are a novice thanks.

Great Technical Staff
Angel had patience with me as I’m not knowledgeable on these items. He walked me through the trouble shooting of my unit and identified the problem. He helped me order the parts I needed and worked with me when I had questions about the installation of them. In this day and age it’s refreshing to deal with him and a company like this. Thank you!

Fixed noisy fan with help from customer service
Very reliable inverter in regular use for last five years. Cooling fan was starting to get noisy and I wrote to customer service about getting a replacement fan. They wrote back that I could get one on Amazon (60mm x30mm with two wire connector). Very easy replacement via rear panel.
