Kilimanjaro trek & Safari
Booked Kilimanjaro trek and safari with alienadv.com. Pallav was very helpful through the process of booking and was very prompt in responding to emails. Great service.
Excellent so far
Pallav has arranged climbs of Mt Kenya and Kilimanjaro and a short safari for me through Chief's Tours. He and Adidas from Chiefs have been very professional and have answered queries promptly and fully. Of course the real test is yet to come. The review after the trip will be the one that really counts, but I feel confident of a desirable outcome.

I booked through Alien Adventures for a solo charity climb of Mount Kilimanjaro. Pallav was very attentive from the very beginning and even made a donation to my cause. However I booked and paid for a luxury climb which was advertised and explained to me from Pallav to include extra luxuries such as extra thick mattresses, bottled water etc. However there was nothing different in my trip than if I had booked a budget trip. There was only one type of mattress despite the level of package booked and all climbers had bottled water provided to them. There were many other discrepancies in the package, the whole luxury package in fact did not exist and the tour company I climbed with were unaware of it. Long story short I paid hundreds more than I should have. The budget climb would have been the exact same. However Pallav was there to answer all of my questions when the local company I was booked with were not responding. This really helped me feel comfortable with everything especially being a single female traveler, this provided me with a lot of reassurance.

I am really sorry to hear about this Shelly, and surprised as well as the initial indications I received from Sabino and yourself were different. Sabi also told me that the mattresses were thick and good, not the camping sort. It is also NOT TRUE that Sabi was not aware that this was a luxury package, I just spoke with him today about it. He mentioned that he had provided a 10 liter mineral water bottle for you on the trail, so that you would not have to drink tap water. So I am not sure why you write otherwise. Additionally, he was kind enough to change your room at WeruWeru Lodge since the neighbours were apparently bothering you. I am sad that such a strong feedback comes this late despite all that I tried to do to ensure this trip was a success.
