What made the experience with AmeriSave a great endeavor ? THE PEOPLE ! A company or an organization is only as good as its people and Gilbert Bosmans and Meredith Owen are two of the best. Not only at what they do but as people conveying courtesy,professionalism, personable assistance,a positive outlook, a can do attitude, and just overall general kindness and even compassion to and for the client and their needs. This company proved to me in my humble opinion that they are the best at what they do and it comes down to the people that they employ and how they are trained and how they are instilled with the good and proper business ethics in integrity that all American companies should have. I highly recommend them to everybody out there and I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again if I had a reason to. It was fine but communication was a little difficult with the processor and the closing docs had my name three different ways. I asked for someone to walk through the closing documents but never got a call back and then I had to correct the name all through the closing. we tried to call to make sure our correction was ok but no one was available to speak to. It's done now and is what it is but not the best communication.

their portal doesn't always recognize what you are uploading, the loan processors are slow to respond. mine went on vacation for 3 weeks and no one did anything with my portfolio but the worst was the appraisal process. I have been a realtor for over a decade and know the comps in my market. they sent an appraiser from a big city over an hour and a half away from my market. this woman could not tell the difference between hardie board siding and vinyl and a brick facade vs stone. our house was originally built in the 80's a dance studio, when we bought it we took it down to the studs and redid everything electrical, plumbing, flooring walls. this appraiser said our house was vinyl siding with brick, our floors were vinyl when they are hardwood, she pulled comps for vinyl houses on smaller lots without any of the granite and finer finishes that we have, she also didn't take into consideration our 30x40 garage. when I disputed the appraisal and provided pictures of what the before/after of our house the appraisal company decided that her appraisal was correct. it came in over 100k less than what the actual value of our house is. The person who was supposed to be contacting me and keeping me in the loop while my loan processor was out of town did not reply to my emails. IF you are looking to refinance and live in a rural area, run from these people, their appraisers don't know their heads from a hole in the ground.
