I bought a book 17 days ago and I don't have any idea where it is, and nobody has a solution. It seems it haven't been printed yet. That's way I'm rating you with the lowest value possible.

apress.com publishes good technical books; which is good for self-study materials. They deliver newly printed copies on demand book ( as per my belief).

Excellent service. Books are easy to select. Ordering process if flawless. Actually ordering a book means some waiting time because of environment conscious print-on-demand system. But this is perfectly OK. If you are in a hurry: aim for the e-books.

I was expecting that book will be of same quality as original but because of promotion book was printed in black and white and some block diagrams are not readable. I am happy with the content of the book.

Apress is my long-time favorite bookshop. I bought here lot of printed and electronic books and had never a single problem with shipping, downloads or payments. Smooth and pleasant experience, wide selection of valuable books on various topics means only one: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Avoid using PayPal on this site
Avoid using PayPal on this site. Multiple times I've had them invoice me with a balance due after checking out with PayPal. The second time it happened, despite me providing proof of payment, they refused to admit that the debt was paid on checkout. After months of going back and forth I got tired of dealing with them and paid the invoice, which meant that I paid twice for the books. These guys are the worst.

An excellent source of knowledge
An excellent source of knowledge! There is an exceptional selection of current topic software titles for me to choose from. The authors/editing are very good in their ability to convey complex subjects! I cannot say enough good about apress.com!
Good books, mediocre customer service
The books are fine, but customer service is very slow at answering questions or resolving issues. Courteous, but ponderous. Expect to wait a long time and even then not get a clean resolution. As an example, I've been waiting for them to process a refund for a couple weeks now, and their most recent message was an apology that they still can't get things working correctly on their end. May be simpler to buy their products on Amazon or other distributor instead.
