Installation of a heat pump
What attracted us most to Asset was the way they were willing to work with us on our project. Another contractor had been disinterested in our requirements, it was his way or not at all, so the distinction was stark. We had a 22-year-old boiler that was working well but we felt was on borrowed time. We had decided a while ago that we would replace it with a heat pump when it broke but research caused us to realise that the process would not be quick especially as we wanted to claim the BUS grant. If your boiler breaks down, you don’t want to hang about so switching to a heat pump is best done when your old boiler is still working. From first approaching Asset to the system being commissioned was just under 5 months but we had started looking into the idea for 3 months before that. Having said that, the whole job was undertaken in just over 4 days which included the installation of two new radiators, the moving of a third radiator, the removal of our old boiler and cylinder and the installation of the heat pump and new cylinder. The Asset team were great; it was a pleasure to have them around. They asked all the right questions before taking certain steps to be sure they were proceeding as we would wish. There were no nasty surprises when we checked on the progress during each day. Asset took care to protect our home as they worked, and we are not aware of any damage done anywhere despite the large and hard objects being moved around. We would definitely recommend them to our friends.

Thomas is the man. Thoroughly knowledgeable and experienced in all forms of plumbing and heating. Fitted and commissioned new combi boiler just 24hrs after initial contact. Very reasonable price. First class workmanship. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent Customer Service
Excellent Customer Service..8 a.m.Sunday emergency call ref a ch htg problem. Arrived within 2 hours & fixed the problem short term, caused by frozen pipes & with a promise to return to resolve the problem long term. Thomas was very polite & professional and returned as promised with the necessary parts. All sorted at a reasonable price. Highly recommend. JH
Amazing service
I'm so grateful for the amazing service of Asset Plumbing & Heating. My boiler service revealed issues but Thomas gave me all the information I needed about options to decide on next steps. He fitted a new boiler so quickly and problem solved on the day to make sure it was complete. Communication and service excellent.
5* Leaky radiator fix
Thomas came a very short notice to fix a leak with our radiator. He completed the work to a high standard. I have used him before and his work is excellent

Reliable , knowledgeable and friendly company
We used Asset Plumbing to fit our boiler and were really happy with the friendly , patient and knowledgeable service that Tom gave. Our boiler has been trouble free since it was fitted in 2023 and it’s just had its 2nd service. All good and , as usual, a pleasure to deal with Tom . Clear blockage & repair pipe work under kitchen sink
Tom very promptly arranged to come out on the same day of my call, to resolve the problem we had with a blockage under the kitchen sink & a repair to the water feed. He called in advance to give exact time of arrival. Tom & his apprentice were friendly & polite, and worked quickly & efficiently, clearing up when the job was completed. He followed up with a text message to ensure we were happy with the job & that there was no further problems. We will use Tom again to service our central heating system. Tom’s company was recommended to us by a friend & I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.
Friendly, professional and supportive
The plumber attended a mains leak within 90 mins of our phone call on a bank holiday weekend. He and replaced the split plastic join with copper and brass. He explained why the fault had occurred and his reason for using the metal replacement. He worked quickly, left the space clean and tidy and charged us a reasonable amount for the work. The plumber also returned two days later to check that the repair was working properly. I would certainly contact this company again if I needed a plumber

I would reccomend Asset Plumbing to anyone in nerd of prompt , efficient and good work and help with any plumbing issue. They responded to the emergency of replacing an old and obsolete boiler with care and kindness quickly and left everything repaired and clean afterwards
