Update After reading my review below, an Autonomous customer service representative contacted me to apologize for my shipping experience. She also asked if the chair was damaged. I thought that the gas cylinder may have been damaged and she was more than willing to send me a replacement part. When I realized it wasn't she still offered a token of Autonomous' appreciation for the inconvenience of the shipping experience. For their proactive and professional customer service I highly recommend Autonomous as a business. I've been sitting in my chair about 3 weeks now and it is very comfortable. The flexible back conforms well to provide lumbar support. I am very happy with it, and let me say again, I was able to purchase it with my HSA card since I have and am being treated for chronic back pain. Original Post Ordering the Autonomous Ultra 2 chair was quick and easy using my HSA card. Autonomous shipped the chair quickly and I did not need to interact with customer service for any issues. The only problem I had was that the chair arrived with a big hole in the back of it that scraped through two the Styrofoam. All in all the chair seems to have arrived in good condition.

had a weird glitch with an unexpected power outage in the middle of moving it. Chatted with customer service. Still not sure if it was AI or not. (probably?) Anyway got it fixed. They COULD have had the solution on the webpage but I didn't see it there. Problem solved for now. So far I like the table a lot and it's been over a year.

We purchased the ErgoChair Ultra 2 and the headset to go with it. It has a weight capacity that is 320 lbs which is what we were looking for but it is really not much bigger than the ErgoChairs we have purchased previously. So that was disapointing. Otherwise, it is a nice chair. Just wish it were roomier.

Right now, I am getting an EO4 error on occasion. I would like to have this down for the record though I would not like to send in my desk as it is working. I am not sure what might be causing the EO4 error.

The chair is an absolute unit but comfortable to use on a daily basis. Building the chair was quite easy to do and only took about 30 min to complete. The only thing I’d recommend is that there be a video on what each lever on the chair does for those who are unfamiliar with ergonomic chairs.

Amazing chairs and incredible support. I had two Autonomous ErgoChair Pro since 2023. They came in perfect condition and we've been using tem >13h a day. When I needed support because my order was tricky, the team was really nice and, 3 years later, when I tried to order a small replacement because a part is a bit worn off, they also helped me and made my experience smooth and nice. I would totally trust them.

I had the ErgoChair Ultra 1, but it Seems like the Model 2 has a nicer Base and Frame, however I do not like the armrests and feel that it's a downgrade due to how wobbly they are. I would prefer them to be fixed instead of wobbly and loose. I think the head rest should be able to swivel more horizontally to fit all head types and they way that you rest your head backwards. I find that this design keeps my head to far forward putting excessive tension/ strain on my neck.

I had ordered a chair and was very frustrated when it wasn't delivered at the anounced date. Furthermore, I was furious when I realised that their website just moves the shipment date to "tomorrow" everyday. I expressed my frustration online and the Autonomous team saw it. They immediately contacted me, appologised for this issue and proposed an extremely generous deal which resolved this situation shortly. It is the first time when I see how truly concerned people are with making customers' experience positive. My new Chair Ergo is very good. My back and neck pain are gone, and I can finially feel comfortable while working. The chair is well designed and extremely stylish. If you're looking for a decent office chair for your home - choose Autonomous.

Autonomous great customer service I ordered a standing desk and an ergo chair around 4 years ago and they are still in great shape. recently my kids jacked up the arm rest padding so I contacted support to help me out. I really love that chair! I work full time from home and in the evening I need to study university.. since I have that chair my back doesnt hurt anymore im sooo confortable!

Alice T was very helpful, sending me detailed disassembly instructions (and videos). My chair's armrest came loose, but this was the result of a screw becoming disengaged. It was easily fixable. No replacement parts were needed and the chair is as good as new.
