I was able to make such a cute little purse, and they even included a dust bag, extra needles and thread for future repairs and a set of silk twillys to add extra customization! Overall, it was a fun experience, and I'm extremely happy with the final product!

The two bag kits you purchased both use genuine top grain leather for the main exterior leather parts. Some bag kits may also include lining, reinforcement, or shaping materials inside the structure to help the bag keep its shape. Because the exterior leather is processed and thinned for easier sewing and assembly, if a cut or test reaches the middle structural layer, that inner layer may not look the same as the outer leather. LARGE LEATHER TOTE (Haze Blue). I have just finished my sixth Babylon Leather DIY bag. I loved the size of the bag and I specifically wanted to make it because it looked to be the handbag kit with the most stitching required. Simply because I enjoy it so much. This bag did not disappoint at all. It was a little more difficult and took me about 70 hours to complete. I am meticulous though and one thing I did different from the tutorial video was to baste the piping to the bag first instead of holding all pieces of leather together while stitching. It made it so much easier and looked great when done. The bag is big enough to hold everything and more than I need. The lining includes 3 pockets which are a definite plus! The bag is stunning and the leather is beautiful. I cannot think of any negatives with regard to the bag. It is perfect and I am already ordering another color. Babylon support (Lloyd) is exceptional. He must work 23 hours a day because he is on top of everything. No issues whatsoever.

Gorgeous Bag and Great Quality
Really beautiful project and I’ve received so many compliments on the bag since finishing from random strangers in public! The leather is fantastic quality and all the pieces fit perfectly. I also appreciated all the tools included in the kit, including the lovely silk scarves. The most challenging part of this project is probably the piping. The video moves very quickly but I'm an experienced seamstress and have taken leather making classes so was able to figure things out. Next project, I would probably use a saddle stitch to make sure all my stitching is very tight and secure. Would absolutely buy another kit and look forward to using this one!

I love Babylon Leather
I have made 7 bags and 3 labubus. Previously they had a generous reward program but the reward program changed when they reduced the prices of products. Loyal customers were not happy with the change and I for one had planned to switch brands. Since they have recently reverted back to the original loyalty program I made my 8th bag purchase. Customer service responds within 24-48 hours. They are quite clear in communication, not just AI responding, it’s a real person taking time to answer your questions. The product quality is very good. Beautiful Caramel Kelly Style Bag!
I would highly recommend making a Babylon Kit purse! My first experience was the large Kelly Epsom Caramel with white thread and gold hardware. Everything went fairly smoothly, except I didn't realize there were two different versions of the bag and two different videos. A quick email to Lloyd (thinking I had missing parts), and everything was cleared up. He got back to me right away, and was extremely helpful. The bag turned out beautiful. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday and when she carrys it, everyone wants one!
