Third order from Babylon
I have now completed my third order from Babylon, and have done at least 10 purses - all have been beyond my expectations and I have received so many comments on my hand made purses. The leather is very nice and the quality is good and there has been no problems with the shipments. In one of my kits there was one little piece missing but it was taken care of right away, and Lloyd/support is always helpful. I am about to order my 4th time, this time I will try a specialized custom order on one of the bags. Babylon do also offer custom made bags.

I’ve always been an avid garment sewist. I came across this company and decided on a whim. I would try it as I wanted to make something that I could do on the go. I’ve made two of their purses and really enjoyed the experience, and the result was incredibly professional. My sister and I wanted to make more of these beatiful bags after we ordered just one to try them out first. I have made 5-6 bags now and just can't stop. The kits include everything you need and the video instruction is very good...and getting better. When I ran into problems attaching the hardware on one bag, the company was responsive and helped me resolve the issue. I can't believe how professional the finished bags look!

Babylonleather offers a big selection of interesting and stylish templates. I've enjoyed making and selling the Pony Card holders. They look great with so many options. The template was easy to make. I used 2oz leather for the foreground, horse & background. Used 3.5 oz leather for the back.
LOVE THIS COMPANY
After trying other companies, I can confidently say that this is the best. The bags come out beautifully. Technically, they are better constructed, with heavier threads and stronger needles. The holes line up perfectly. Working on a mini Kelly this time and am excited to see it finished. I have a bag from Pop Sewing that a friend asked me to help with..it is a nightmare!
Genuine leather kit company
Honestly, one of the best companies I have dealt with. I'm in the UK and the company is US based but as soon as my order went in, they emailed straight away to help me with my additional requests. Nothing was too much trouble. 10 emails later and numerous Instagram messages later, my order was complete to my specific requirements. They sent me photos and swatches to help me with my decision. If you're trying to decide which leather bag kit company to go for, go with babylon leather. Their Hermes inspired bags are the closest replica on the leather kit market. Genuine leather and ALL the bits needed to complete the bag. The Facebook group is also great. Great discount too plus s loyalty reward scheme. I have not been paid for this review.

My first experience with Babylonleather is WONDERFUL. The package arrived timely, no damage at all.Because I had previous committente, I only start to work on it a couple of weeks ago. The kit is comprehensive of everything I needed to make my first bag , the video instruction was really easy to follow and the result… unbelievable!!!The material is stunning, the color(mine is red) beautiful, the method is so easy it make me wonder: how is it possible that designer bags costs thousands of €!!! People asks me where I bought my bag, what designer is and they can’t believe I made it myself, because the result is so beautiful. Also it is very rewarding to build something that is going to last and it is really made by yourself, the time I’ve put into this project was very fulfilling and fun! I will definitely suggest this website to my friends, so they can also have beautiful bags on a reasonable price and feeling proud to have done a good job!
Oblique stitch Kelly bags
I have very recently completed two oblique stitch Kelly style bags, which were a challenge but the reward in finishing both was so worthwhile. I am thrilled with them and have received countless compliments. Special thanks to Lloyd for his encouragement when I thought I had bitten off more than I could chew. I can thoroughly recommend Babylon (and have done so already) to anyone who loves handbags but doesn’t love designer bag price tags. Can’t wait to choose another kit from Babylon.
