0 stars - rubbish customer service - they ignore official manufacturer defects

If i could give 0 stars, i would. I bought a pair of Yonex Power Cushion 65 Z shoes from Badmintonplanet. I only play once a week, but the shoes basically fell apart. The upper and side parts of the shoe started peeling, and the heel cushioning completely failed, which actually ended up causing me a physical injury. It turns out these shoes were from a known faulty batch. Yonex even put out an official article confirming the exact defect. You can see this article on google. "(Update) Notice Regarding the POWER CUSHION 65 Z Series Badminton Shoes" Even with this proof, the customer service at Badmintonplanet (Karin Lanza and Pascal Spoelder) completely dismissed me. They tried to blame the defect on "wear and tear" and offered me a joke of a €23.15 voucher for shoes that cost over £140. When I pushed back, Pascal was incredibly rude and literally told me, "This is also not a discussion we’re going to have with you," before shutting down my claim. They didn't care at all that they had sold me a defective product. I ended up having to go straight to Yonex UK to complain. I sent the shoes directly to them, and they actually did their job. They inspected them, confirmed they were from the faulty batch that Badmintonplanet sold me, and sent me the replacement I was entitled to all along. Badmintonplanet has zero respect for their customers and will completely ignore official manufacturer defects just to avoid giving a refund or sending a replacement. Save yourself the headache and buy from somewhere else! Also one other thing, I am from the UK. Once i paid for my order, they email me the next day asking for more money to cover delviery costs? I has paid the delivery on my original order but then after they expected me to pay more just for delivery? Maybe fix the delviery costs before selling something to customers? genuiniely, ive had sleepless nights becasue of these lot, they were ignoring emails, not listening to me, not honouring the public announced defect, horrible customer service.

Badminton planet is very accommodating

Badminton planet is very accommodating webshop. They have the top tier equipment available within their webshop. Wonderful and understanding customer service. I am happy with the products that they have delivered and they are reasonable prices. Although, they have good service, I do think that their services are quite slow but I am giving them the benefit of the doubt that I ordered my items during Christmas time. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family for being reliable.

Wrong grip size and never response

At first I ordered yonex zf2, after few weeks they said no more stock. They were nice enough to substitute with Astrox 88 d pro as my choice, and I mentioned few times I want it to be 4ug5. Ralph from customer service acknowledged. I told my friend, and they also ordered. She got her order 1 week earlier, but orders were wrong. When I received mine, my grip size is 3ug5. I ordered 4ug5 since I’m not professional. I never heard from them after sending email. Not going to do business for sure.

Top tier customer service, products as promised

The customer service is awesome. Even though I live nearly 2000 kilometers away from the shop, they make me feel like I'm walking in the shop. Responses to emails are so fast and even ordering via email was a good experience. Parcels are sent fast and it takes only 5ish days for a parcel to arrive to the other side of Europe. Once I ordered more shuttles than they had in stock, and they contacted me right away to correct the order and get my order shipped asap. They changed the needed shuttles for more expensive ones for the same price and my order was then shipped right away. I wanted a racket that they did not have in stock. Whereas other shops simply told me that they don't have the racket, Badmintonplanet proposed that they could order it from the manufacturer. My order (made via email) shipped today and I am very happy with the customer service. After three orders I have nothing else bad to say about the shop, that the rackets should have weights and handles listed in the webstore. However, if you ask from the customer service they will answer you right away. 5/5, will order many many times again in the future.

Poor customer service. Refuse to refund returned goods lost by the postal service according to official track-on-trace link. Customers are not only asked to pay for all costs related to return of goods, but also to take full responsibility in case returned goods are lost by the postal service.
