Wow! This little device changed EVERYTHING with my vocal agility and practice. This is entirely different than just working with a straw. In addition, the effects have been SO positive, I bring along Better Voice to my gigs in case I get a head of myself. I highly recommend this product!
This review is about the Better Voice Customer Support: the after sale support is phenomenal. They contact you to ensure that you are not only happy with the product but also to make sure that you know how to use it and how to benefit from it, the hidden effort is they want you to succeed. Honestly I have not experienced such dedication prior to this.
I purchased the Vocal Trainer after seeing an ad on FB so I thought I’d try it. After using it sporadically for a month, I decided I preferred sticking with my straw and vocal exercises routines on YT. I found using the device created vibrations in my face that I found annoying and I noticed my once daily routines became less frequent. Also, although the device came with a case and lanyard for more portability, I still found myself avoiding using it. Up to the last day of the return window AND on a weekend, Justin emailed me and honored my request to return the item and told me that I would be refunded. No questions asked. Within about a week or so, their refund confirmation appeared in my email and then a week later the money was in my bank account omitting the initial postage cost. Great customer service with no questions asked.
From the very first time I tried it, I noticed a clear change in my voice—more focused and with a noticeably different tone. I had previously used straws of various sizes, but none of them produced anything close to the effect of the Better Voice Trainer. I now use it every day, and I’m absolutely delighted with the results.
I have very much enjoyed using the better voice vocal trainer. Unfortunately, I broke the chain that came with the device. I emailed the company on Sunday to see if I could buy a replacement. I was delighted to hear from the on Monday - when they offered to send me a free replacement, I received it on Thursday of the same week. I’d call this terrific customer service!
I’ve been singing since I was 15, I’m now 70. In my 20’s I could sing Boston, Styx, Kansas etc effortlessly. Since then inconsistent use and improper technique limited my range and stamina. Retired and moved to FL where my first gig was sitting in as front man for a friends classic rock band. I got the Bettervoice. Crazy!!! Range, durability and control increased dramatically. A year later my tone and control have never sounded better. While I’m not singing the stupid high 5C stuff anymore my range is consistently up to an A5 and on occasion B5. But honestly, it’s the tone, control and stamina that has made me a considerably better singer than I’ve ever been Thank you Better Voice team!!!

Better voice changed my life. I thought that the reason I couldn’t sing was because I was bad, but it was because I didn’t understand my body, I couldn’t FEEL the muscles or the pitch and had no way to really measure it. I love this thing. Not only has it already helped with my diaphragmatic breathing but it gives me a quiet way to practice whenever I want. I work in an office and can close my door and practice scales while navigating spreadsheets without anyone being the wiser. I'm literally becoming a diva without having to act like one by shoving my singing down everyone's throat. A huge win!

My dog ate it and I'm buying another! I love this device - quick and audible results with regular use. I can hit higher and lower notes and the transitions are getting so much smoother. My dog (obviously noticing it smelled like kisses from me) decided to chew it to bits and I plan to replace it because it was totally worth it. 100% recommend!

I went out on my first headliner tour at the age of 56. 16 shows in 3 weeks. I was SUPER worried about my voice holding up and had absolutely dramatic results with the trainer. My voice is stronger now than before the tour. I am a voice teacher also and am recommending this device to all of my students. Yes, you can probably get the same results with a straw, but the compact cute case and ease of accurate adjustments are definitely worth the price.

The Better Voice device works well. It helps to settle down my tongue and voice .it is also helpful if you need to warm up quietly. The new design makes it easy to use as I go about my day. It has a calming effect which nice before a gig. 😊

As a woman in menopause whose voice has become a little less stable, this tool is so helpful! I sing with several choirs, am in a band and I teach voice as well and this is so much better than the straw exercises we have all used. After warming up with it, I sang through one of my songs and my voice was stronger and placement was a no brainer. I cannot recommend this enough.

I am pushing 70. Have sung most of my life. Over the last 20 years, overuse and aging made my voice feel brittle. I described it like the cracked reed of an oboe. When my neighbor started a choir and orchestra I really wanted to support him and joined, but remained so discouraged by my weak voice. The Vocal Trainer was the best investment I ever made. I'm 64. I began singing in public 7 years ago. I am currently in 4 bands. Two cover bands, a Big Band and a Duo. I practice a total of8.5 hrs a weeks with 3 of the bands. The Duo is 1.5 hrs every two or three weeks. Gigs are generally 3 hours, singing 36 or so songs. Recently I have had back to back gigs with both cover bands and you are always wondering how your voice will be the next day. I purchased my Better Voice over a year ago and although I did use it a little I was reluctant to use it when I had a long rehearsal or gig coming up. When I did use it for short periods of time I did notice an apparent change in my tone and I wasn't sure it was what I was looking for. A couple of weeks ago I did a 3 hr gig with my duo, mostly lay back ballad type songs but also some spirited songs that required a fair effort. The next day I had a 3hr gig with my high energy rock band where there are lots of vocally challenging songs. i.e Radar Love, Better by The Screaming Jets. The following day I had a dozen songs with the Big Band and I knew my voice needed cleaning up. So I bit the bullet and used the Better Voice significantly, scales, sirens, anything I could think of. I did start off a little husky, in tune but with a certain thickness to my voice. I used the Better Voice in Between songs and I felt a confidence that my voice was going to be fine for the day. When we got to Mustang Sally, my voice was as good as any day. Almost certain that would not have been the case if I decided not to take the chance. This weekend I sand for two and a quarter hours with a 15 mintue break. The following day the gig was 4.5 hours at a wedding. No issues and not using the Better Voice. But today I had another 3 hr gig, 36 songs and this morning my voice was not completely under control. So I grabbed the Better Voice and just smashed all different vocal approaches. I wasn't sure I could handle the 3 hours without exposing imperfections etc. I had also gone to gargling hot salt water and Manuka honey. We started at 2pm and I was careful with the first couple fo songs but they went well. I had the band bypass When the War if Over by Cold Chisel and Wicked Game by Chris Isaac as I was not confident I could hit all the notes cleanly. Bear in mind I was using the Better Voice a lot prior to the gig and also between songs. Two thirds into the first set I was confident I could return to the songs I skipped over and hit all the songs cleanly. I also had no trouble with Never Tear Us Apart by INXS in the second set. I continued to use the Better Voice between songs and I know that it assisted me sounding clear and strong for the entire 3hr gig. I did not instantly fall in love with The Better Voice. I barely used it for the first year. But when the chips were down and I knew I might be found wanting, I threw caution to the wind and put my trust in Better Voice. It did not disappoint. The device did break off the necklace pretty early on, but I just put it in my pocket. I just have to remember which one lol. Jon I didn't get paid to write this War and Peace review but maybe I should have. I think its a down to earth opinion on a product out there that can assist vocalists at any level.

Purchasing this little tool has been one of my best investments this year! Some folks have argued to just use straws and you'll get the same effect! WRONG!!! If you want a better voice, this is a excellent investment, and this is not a paid endorsement!!! Performed this evening, and many folks complimented me on how much better my voice sounds!
