Bosgame M5 mini PC bought in Nov 2025, started locking up and rebooting Sept 2026. Contacted customer support, first they responded, have a list of things to try and log files to supply. Course since it locked up after Abt five minutes of power on that was impossible. I explained to them the issue, they Ghosted me .
I received my brand new M5 on Saturday. Unpacked - all packing looked good- and tried to power up. No luck- out of the box the machine failed to even start up to set up. The LED lights are glowing but the computer fails to start/ I sent email after email to support. One response asking to remove cmos battery and put back. The M5 does not come with that capability. You can’t even find where the cmos is without taking apart the whole thing- I am not doing that to a brand new $3k machine. No other response for days on now. I am extremely disappointed with a lemon on hand and $3k in the hole. BOsgame sucks - don’t wage high money there. I am going to initiate action on this.
I purchased a Bosgame M5 BeyondMax system specifically for running local AI models and long-running Ollama workloads.
Unfortunately, the computer repeatedly performs sudden hard shutdowns during sustained local LLM inference. The system does not crash gracefully, show a useful error message, or leave a normal software log. It simply becomes unavailable and has to restart or be powered on manually.
To determine whether this was an isolated hardware defect, I asked the support to get a new product in excchange. They refused - I should send the old one back on my coists, they will examine and without getting to know how long this will take, theymight ship another one. As I use this server as a testing and development machine, I do not want to wait so long for another one. So I purchased a second M5 unit - as support told me I will get my money back, when I'm sending the server back again. The second unit exhibited the same behaviour under the same controlled workload. This strongly suggests a platform-level stability problem rather than a defect in one individual computer.
I tested different software versions, including different Linux kernels, updated graphics firmware, ROCm versions and Ollama versions. The issue remained. I also tested the BIOS “Balanced” profile at approximately 85 W. This only delayed the failure; it did not solve it. In my tests, the system still shut down after sustained AI load.
I provided Bosgame support with detailed logs, hardware telemetry and a reproducible test package. The package included the exact workload, configuration and instructions needed to reproduce the problem. Despite this, I did not receive a meaningful technical resolution, a firmware solution, an acceptable replacement arrangement or an appropriate price reduction for the unit I kept.
I returned the second computer under the 14-day withdrawal period. Although I eventually received the purchase price back, the refund took several weeks, and I did not receive reimbursement for the outbound and return shipping costs, which together amounted to more than €100.
I understand that intermittent hardware problems can be difficult to diagnose. However, the combination of repeated failures on two units, extensive evidence provided to support, and the lack of a satisfactory response has been extremely disappointing.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this product for reliable 24/7 local AI workloads, and I cannot recommend Bosgame as a business partner when technical problems arise.
I am extremely satisfied with both the BOSGAME M5 Mini PC itself and the outstanding customer service! The device works great in everyday use. When I encountered a technical issue, the support team (especially Quinn) reacted very quickly, friendly, and professionally.
The whole exchange process was completely smooth: return shipping costs were reimbursed without any hassle and the replacement device arrived quickly. This is top-tier customer service! I would definitely buy from BOSGAME again.
This mini-PC from Bosgamepc was my first purchase from this company. I am in my 7th month of usage and I am incredibly happy with my purchase. The PC does what it claims to do and more. Customer service has been more than helpful. They provided excellent response time, and most critical the info that I requested. I will definitely purchase another mini-PC from this company after using the one I have now. No reason not to trust this company.
Absolutely great computer. What's more over the top is BOGAME's customer support. I reached out to them to help with a tweak I needed to make to the bios settings and they made it happen. So extremely helpful and I would buy an pc from them again gladly just for their above and beyond customer support!
Mini PC Died, but BosGame's Great Customer Service got me a new one
I recently had my MiniPC from BosGame take a dive and the motherboard died. I contacted BosGame about it and at first we tried troubleshooting the issue, and I eventually received a new replacement at no charge. I was pretty stoked that the whole process went smooth and they sent me a brand new one and not a refurbished model.
I'm very happy with the Mini PC and plan on buying more in the future from BosGame :)
Faulty plug gave me electric shock resulting in hospital treatment
I purchased my Bosgame mini pc via Amazon at the start of this year. A few days the plug exploded as I plugged it in, delivering a significant electric shock to me, resulting in me having to go to hospital. Unfortunately, Bosgame are now ignoring my emails and appear to have no ‘duty of care’. Very worrying and disappointing.
With only days for the warranty to expired, my P4 5825H stopped working, my first thought was, based on experiences with different companies that my time and money was lost but after contacting by emails with customer service they offered a solution to my problem, so I'm grateful and a happy customer !!
Thanks to Flora and the excellent customer service

I've deployed over 100 of BOSGAME's mini PCs in a professional environment and 1 of these PCs had a faulty memory module. I reached out to support and after some tests to confirm, they paid for a replacement stick of RAM. They were very responsive and willing to help. Not only has the hardware been reliable (1 problem out of over 100 PCs) but when I did have issues they were willing to work with me to resolve them. That's what I want when I reach out to a company about an issue. I would highly recommend BOSGAME.
I bought a E2 Mini PC on Amazon made by Bosgame. My initial thoughts on this product and the company are good. I had a couple questions and received a response within one day. The product itself is a small cube like mini desktop PC. They have become popular because of their price and size. Most come with Windows 11 Pro as mine did but for what I paid I do question the validity of the Windows 11 license although it did activate. The model I bought was cheap and came with a older AMD mobile chip with graphics. Works fine with Windows or Ubuntu Linux. Couple drivers with Windows I had to download from Bosgame site. They downloaded as Zip files which is a little bit sketchy. But have experienced before with other Mini PC brands. I think many of the mini PC's are made in the same factory. Some of the hardware like the SSD and RAM were unfamiliar brands but seem to work OK. The company offers models with more performance and newer hardware and sells mostly through online stores like Amazon or direct purchase from their site. For what I paid $170 I got inexpensive PC with a small form capable of running Windows 11. It runs fairly cool with basic tasks and is fast enough to satisfy most expectation for this price point.
