My old therapist retired and I had to find a new therapist. I was always against virtual visits, but I decided to give Brightside Health a try. I was very happy and I am happy with Deborah Mason. She is very caring and understanding. She listens to me and my problems and helps come up with solutions. She provides excellent service and is professional and is understanding when I have video connection issues. The cancellation/scheduling process is very easy to do online. They are flexible and can work with your schedule. I would highly recommend Brightside Health for your counseling wants and needs.

Don't bother if you have state (NC)…
Don't bother if you have state (NC) Medicaid. They'll accept it for a month, then decide the same morning of your next appointment that they can't take it and leave you with a 350 dollar charge. Charging you on such short notice is an incredibly slimy practice. The psychiatrists will be late, have super short appointments suggesting they don't care about you as a patient, and in our situation, they did not refill our prescription for one last month so we had to cut a medication cold-turkey, causing a lot of stress and issues.

Being heard and not just listening!
The interactions are of concern, patience and understanding.
I was in a very bad space mentally when I started on 2-6-26; now I feel better about myself and seem to be getting back to being happy, caring and loving self. I'm still having issues completing tasks before starting another one. But I'll get there. 😀😀
