The price will change

I did a lot of research and found most the companies out there will give you a price upfront and then change it last minute. Brightway was no different. You're not gonna get your trailer hauled to Alaska for $2800, its just not gonna happen. I believe I paid $5300. The transportation was awesome. The driver kept in touch the entire trip, but these guys did the same thing everyone does. They give you a price to hook you and they give you the real price once they have a driver. It was still cheaper than the outfits I called that would do it themselves. I think these guys offer the best deal, I just wish they would do it honestly without the bs upfront. I have shipped my Vintage car with them in an enclosed trailer everything went smooth, they get me a proper insured and secure carrier and the driver was an experienced professional. My experience with Brightway Logistics…

My experience with Brightway Logistics was mixed. While my vehicle transportation was ultimately arranged, the process involved delays from the original pickup schedule, and the final shipping cost ended up being considerably higher than the initial quote. Better communication and pricing transparency would have made the experience much smoother. I would, however, like to recognize Michelle A. James for his professionalism and support toward the end of the process. He was responsive, helped coordinate with the carrier, and worked to finalize the transportation details, ensuring everything moved forward. I appreciate his efforts in getting the shipment on track. Overall, the service was completed successfully, but I hope Brightway Logistics improves its scheduling accuracy and communication with customers. Thanks again to Michelle for stepping in and helping bring everything together.

Contracted to ship a car and later asked for 3 times more

Promised to ship a car for $745 and sent a contract. Asked for $150 deposit and once paid, the person named Frank (not real name) kept asking for almost 3x the price ($2200) to ship the car quoting the drivers are charging more. Then he asked me shop around and immediately I got contacted by a firm called Ship Auto Now who insisted on signing a contract for $900 to ship the car. Then I understood their scam that if I sign another contract that would violate the first contract and I lose my deposit amount. Do Not believe these scammers and lose your valuable hard earned money

I Received an estimate of $225

I Received an estimate of $225, broken down $75 for their service - $150 to the driver, to transport a vehicle from Tennessee to Florida. I thought this was too good to be true but decided to go against my gut instinct, especially after talking to the booking agent and he assured me they had just recently had a vehicle ship from that distance. When they sent me the first quote it was for $1000. They said they had a second person that was willing to do it for $700. These quotes are nowhere near the estimate they gave me, 200% to 350% markup. I was under the impression that an estimate was supposed to be close to the actual cost. So I asked for them to cancel my order and it was $150 to cancel the order. I learned a lesson in this whole experience and it only cost me $225, and a trip back to Tennessee to pick up my vehicle.

False identities, false times for pickup, false quotes they never intend to honor. zero communcation

I do not believe the positive reviews for this company. Based on my experience, they do not reflect how this business actually operates. In my opinion, the numerous complaints about bait-and-switch pricing are far more believable because that is exactly what I experienced. When they were trying to get my business, buddy was extremely charismatic. He answered every call, knew me by my first name, and acted like he genuinely cared about earning my business. We talked back and forth multiple times, and everything sounded great. The company gave me a very low quote to secure my business and collect a deposit. I have a large amount of email traffic from this same representative stating that the price was firm, that it would not increase, and that I would receive my deposit back if the price did go up. The moment it was time to actually ship my vehicle, everything changed. Suddenly, he acted like he didn't know who I was. I had to prove that I had even paid my deposit, and all of the emails and promises that got me to sign up suddenly didn't seem to matter. It was obvious that nobody was on the same page, and I had absolutely no confidence that they were being honest with me. After they had my money, the price suddenly increased to several times what I was originally quoted. At that point, you're under pressure because you've already committed and finding another company at the last minute is extremely difficult. Based on my experience, this business operates like a bait-and-switch. I regret using this company and would never recommend them to anyone. They use fake names fake everything and then pretend they dont know you. If you've never taken any advice in your life, take this advice: do not go with this company.

They lie about the cost I was told 375 ship door to door . Paid deposit signed contract. Then they changed it sent another contract tried charging me 2100. Mitchell James is a snake and liar. Says oh they were just quotes nope you said total price. Maybe be upfront with people . Your a snake.
