Brilliant Directories is a great platform that really excels in stability, performance and customizability. While it may be a bit more on the higher end of the pricing spectrum, it delivers exceptional features without the hassle of self-hosted solutions like wordpress for example.
The platform is very user-friendly, making it easy to customize (custom CSS,JS and so forth are possible) and launch even vast directory sites. Its robust membership management system allows for various subscription levels and content sale options, providing a good solution for various use cases. The built-in SEO features should also be mentioned as they are quite extensive even for advanced users. I especially like the option for various SEO-Templates that make it easy to even manage lots of content properly.
Overall, Brilliant Directories matches my expectations in basicly every aspect. If you’re searching for a reliable directory solution that combines ease of use with well thought out content- and membership management features, I highly recommend this platform. It’s a worthwhile investment that provides great value.
I recently started using one of BD’s themes for my virtual assistant business and I’m impressed! It’s a time saver for anyone who wants to start a directory. Truthfully, it’s more than a directory though but you need to dive in to see what I mean 😉

What can I say!
For years, I've been looking for a membership platform that offered the stability, performance, options and cost to value proposition. It might be considered on the more expensive side of the option pool, however I would say that it more than delivers on all of the above without the headaches that usually accompany self hosted software, and the undeveloped and new feature-focused providers still trying to work out the kinks while charging you for the pleasure, etc.
BD allows me to really embrace a lot of the functions I like to see in a platform; it gives me different types of memberships, the ability to sell content, different access & membership levels, custom fields, and a list really just goes on. Yes there are fees if you would like additional add-ons, however given the cost and performance value provided by a developer, it's only right that they have an opportunity to create a sustainable business model by offering said features. We can't actually be selfish in a "give me everything for a little investment" as an approach. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for and in this case it's 100% true. Love what they have provided and its exceeds the value provided by any peer...
I've evaluated Tech Companies for approximately 25 years. I am new to Brilliant Directories. I haven't tested the product; however, the features, interface, navigation, road map, team and tutorials are impressive. After research, it appears they have responded to customer demand and completed enhancements to their system. I am excited and expecting more!

I have 2 BD websites and plan to have more. They have everything nailed down. Support, price, value, features, etc.
I'm very happy to host my business website with them.
The directory is immediately online and almost all aspects of the directory can be modified/expanded. It is overwhelming and I find many capabilities such as badges, payments and page layouts will serve my growing needs as my business expands. The only complain I have is the backend configuration UI/UX needs a good update to be easier for the eyes, and reduce that "overwhelming" feeling.
A Game-Changer for Accountants: Brilliant Directory
Brilliant Directory is the tool I've been waiting for over the past five years. It ticks all my boxes! As an accountant, I use it to list my clients, giving them extra exposure to their potential customers.
Still early on with this service, but it is so far it is a simple and intuitive all-in-one membership site/directory solution with lots of clear instructional and educational information.
This looks like a great product. Excellent add-ons and integrations and an abundance of support videos and resources. I'm yet to give it a full test drive but very excited to put some ideas into fruition. Premium hosting seems extremely expensive ($495 - 645/mth) but perhaps they are VERY well spec'd. I do wonder if their pricing model is to make profit from the add-ons, but at least they are available if you can use them and private paid support is also available at a cost.
It was my first time using Brilliant Directories so I was naturally apprehensive. But the support was timely and always helpful. This is the main reason, in addition to the product, that I see myself using BD websites/subscription in a long-time to come.
Out of the box, the basic but important features required for a directory were present and the addons complemented any extra features required. I have not had the need to do any extra custom development yet.
I have used most site development platforms and can confidently say, BD maintenance time required is near to nothing compared to what I was used to and this leaves me a lot of time to concentrate on my business, its objectives and users/clients/customers than spending time to maintain the product.
I highly recommend this for one more main reason, if you are creative, you can use it for many use-cases than just directories.
