My good installation experience for solar panels by Caplor was second to none. Another company had quoted but would never give a start date and then a friend told me of Caplor. The job was done including overcoming unforeseen problems without quibble. I am happy to recommend Caplor wholeheartedly.

We have solar panels for generating electricity and water heating on our roof and we had a central heating problem which British Gas Services couldn't resolve because it would involve interfering with the solar water heating system. We contacted Captor (who had taken over our original installer) and they arranged for an engineer to come and resolve the problem. They were efficient and helpful when we contacted them and the engineer carried out the work efficiently.

I have been trying to get my solar thermal system sorted out by Caplor for 9 months now. Despite several visits by engineers it is still not working. The last visit was on May 10th and despite chasing I am still waiting for a report. All communication seems to have ceased.

While Caplor does not currently undertake maintenance on systems installed by other companies, we did attend on more than one occasion to assess the issues you had been having. Having spoken with our Service & Maintenance Team Leader they have confirmed that no further work could rectify the issues you were having. That given the age of your system (17 years) and the presence of copper piping that you would require a new solution to achieve your water heating requirements. Bit slow to get Caplor into action on a Solar PV maintenance issue, but response suddenly got a lot better and the teams to put up scaffolding and then remove some panels, install new hardware and get it all back up & running went very well. I think the maintenance team (they are lovely people) is overloaded.

Had to put one star as would not let me write a review otherwise. Worth zero stars. Total failure of service by your company after initial visit about 6 months ago. Chasing had no effect whatsoever. You have left me without generation from solar panels losing me many hundreds of pounds. Why did you bother to inspect if you did not intend to follow up by carrying out the simple repair required. All that is needed is replacement of two connectors where the old ones burnt out. Caplor's response does not help. This is not the way to treat a customer, why waste time visiting and inspecting the installation, promise a further visit, then fail to answer all calls and emails. Caplor deserve bad publicity.

We used Caplor to advise on and then install a Solar PV system on our barn roof and a Ground Source Heat Pump system to replace our existing oil fired boiler. We found all of the team at Caplor very knowledgeable and helpful. They delivered on time and if there were any changes to the plan they kept us informed. Richard Collins was our main point of contact and was superb throughout. I would thoroughly recommend Caplor to anyone looking for a trustworthy, extremely professional and friendly company in this space. I already have done so to several friends, colleagues and contacts.

Salesman was extremely polite and courteous, no hard sell, just explain what was available and what to expect, his quote came back in a couple of days, with a breakdown of cost and a installation time forecast. The installation team arrived on date promised with everything they needed. The installation was carried out with care and left nothing damage and very tidy. I’m very happy with the installation and subsequent asked Caplor to install another unit. Would throughly recommend.

Category experts in their own field. They have given us good advice which has stood the test of time. They have supplied and fitted solar PV to the roof of two buildings in 2018. Both systems are working well.

I have had two jobs completed via Caplor. Solar panels , fitted quickly, worked reliably very good. Heat pump not supplied by Caplor, but rewired so it now works reliably. When you need work done on new tech. systems your safe calling Caplor.
