I just found out that career step is not accredited. I really don’t know if that makes a difference Because I cannot find any of these reviews were anyone has got out and actually got a job. Do they accept this certification? Has anyone actually been placed in a job? Medical billing and coding is what I’m interested in. None of these reviews say that they were able to find job placement.
I tried to cancel as well and actually spoke with someone and they told me that I would get a refund because I canceled before the policy date required. However I received a call from the financial services that is handling my account to let me know the payment will be removed an a specific date.
I have been trying to get my Pharmacy Technician courses canceled due to family events and I have called, sent emails, and I’ve gotten nowhere. My advisor told me he sent my account to returns, however, I received an email saying I was going to be charged and when my next payment was due. I signed up on August 1st and it is August 5th. I’m worried and disappointed with my experience.

Great Program!! I love that it's self paced and you can do it at your own pace. It has fun lessons and you can retake some tests if needed. I am super excited in this career and I can work from home and get paid more than my current job.

I’ve been trying to contact my “advisor” you need a MacBook to complete the assignments which I wasn’t aware about and what I don’t have… haven’t been able to get no assignments done I would’ve gave my certification by now I just need my advisor to get in the field.
I could'nt get anyone to speak to after sending messages and calling.

I am currently a student at CareerStep and when you find yourself needing help the staff is rude and inconsiderate. When you ask the same question because they don’t seem to understand what you’re trying to say they end up hanging up on you! It’s just not a professional school. I’m just so disappointed with the staff. When you are needing to drop out they tell you that you’re still responsible for the entire course. Jennifer P.

I received no help with my login or anything. my time was limited and quite frankly if my contract stated that you could sue me and take me to court for the balance I would withdraw. Mr. Eric misrepresented your company and services badly. he offered help that i have not received and i am very disappointed.
