What people say

Such a helpful service for our Japan trip!

Using Ubigi on our recent trip to Japan was SO helpful! The app was easy to download, the instructions for activation were very well-written, and the WiFi worked great on our trip. We traveled around Tokyo, Kyoto, and several stops in-between, and never had any coverage issues.

Excellent 5G unlimited plan

Excellent 5G unlimited plan, which we used while traveling in Italy! It had been very reliable, way better than others I used over the years. My family had four devices total and we had no issues sharing the plan via hotspot. This made our entire trip so much manageable on the road!

Easy to install

Easy to install. A pity that during installation/activation I did not see an option for giving the Ubigi SIM a distinctive name, so it was hard to distinguish it from the SIM of my home country. Coverage (for Switzerland) not the best as to speed and locations.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Once the eSIM has been installed, you can rename it at any time directly in your phone's settings: * iPhone: Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Service) → select your Ubigi eSIM → Cellular Plan Label. * Android: Settings → Network & Internet (or Connections) → SIM Manager (or SIMs) → select your Ubigi eSIM → Rename. We hope this will help you for your next travel! The Ubigi team

Living in Botswana & traveling to SA…

Living in Botswana & traveling to SA frequently has always been an issue for year, to have data in SA while traveling. Our Mascom provider is expensive to use in SA & most annoying not reliable to use in SA. My son installed Ubigi for me 2 weeks ago. What a pleasure to have data available at all times. Connecting was never an issue, like before. What a pleasure!! Thank you for an excellent service. We also travel to Namibia often. But according to the internet: Ubigi is not working in Namibia? Is that the truth?

We're delighted to hear that Ubigi has made your travels between Botswana and South Africa so much easier and more reliable. Ubigi recently started covering Namibia as well through our partner Namibia Telecom. Please note that coverage is currently limited to 3G. Thank you for your trust, and we wish you many more smooth travels with Ubigi! 😊

Best esim services in Banff area

I opted for this esim while I was in Canada, they quickly provided setup instructions and within 5-10 mins of time i was able to use data plan, more importantly I was getting 5g network with high speed in mountain area in Canada. I was able to share data using Hotspot. Overall it was very good services. More data and different days validity would be preferable if added in the options

We're delighted to hear that you found Ubigi to be a user-friendly and service-oriented provider right from the start! It's wonderful to know that our service is great for your travels.

Great eSIM option with great customer service

Once the Ubigi app is installed on the phone, it sets up an eSIM that gets re-used when/wherever you buy a new roaming package from them. No need to scan a QR code or go through other steps of installing an eSIM at each new destination. When we accidentally bought an extra package from Ubigi, it was easy to contact them and get a refund.

Sometimes, sign-in could be denied

During 11 days of use, I was denied to sign-in twice. Once was in London for activation, another was in Liverpool. Both of them, reason was "wrong password" (actually, it was indicated in Japanese, so "wrong password" could be different in English). I checked it each time and turned out the passwords were right actually. So I tried to reset the "wrong password", but I was denied as my mail address was wrong! I was so disappointed.

I am very satisfied with Ubigi

I am very satisfied with Ubigi. I used the eSIM for two weeks during my trip to Japan, visiting both Tokyo and Kyoto. I had an excellent signal almost all the time. The only issue I experienced was a system outage that lasted about half a day in Kyoto. Fortunately, I was able to use public Wi-Fi hotspots until the service was restored. For my trip, I purchased the 15-day unlimited data plan, and I did not experience any speed restrictions during that time. Setting everything up was quick and easy. I bought the plan before my trip, and the eSIM was automatically activated when I arrived in Japan. Having a reliable internet connection right at the airport was extremely helpful for navigation and getting around. I highly recommend Ubigi and will definitely use it again on my next trip to Japan.

Absolutely no customer support…

Update: Wow, this company is blatantly trying to gaslight an entire Reddit community with their responses, pretending like the problem didn't/doesn't exist. Yes, they finally fixed the Submit button on their web form, but there is still no chatbot on the website. Instead of acknowledging and fixing the issues, this company's modus operandi appears to be to deny it ever existed, and count on reviewers never checking in on the claim again. I know for a fact that there are multiple users experiencing the same issues, and one other user experiencing the exact SAME problem on the SAME day as me. Original: Absolutely no customer support available when problem arises. Their webpage directs you to complete a web form, but the Submit button for the form doesn't work. They also indicate there is a Chatbot available, but it is no where to be found. This appears to be a longstanding issue as I can see other users posting same complaint on Reddit over the past year. They must be suffering from some internal changes as I, as well as other Reddit users, have previously been able to reach them via the web form.
