Don’t purchase UBIGI eSIM
I have been using this eSIM in Japan, while I was travelling around remote and rural areas without internet, so my internet data consumption has been high. I purchased UBIGI’s unlimited data plan taking that internet mind but it turns out once you reach a certain amount of GB they slow down your internet so much you can’t even send Whatsapp messages. All under their “policy” of “fair use”. I would describe their plans as false advertisement since they don’t fulfill the description of “unlimited” at all. Moreover, I’m trying to cancel my plan but they won’t let me cancel it for the next couple months. Which means they’ll be charging me 100€ despite their questionable policy. I’ve had to buy another eSIM in spite of having bought an unlimited data plan for my trip because of their scammy services. I had no othe roption since I was out and couldn’t even google my train back to the hotel. DO NOT PURCHASE IT.

Customer service is useless
Customer service has been relatively non-existent with responses being, at best, scripted. They do not resolve issues so much as provide information found on the FAQs even if you tell them you went through everything. The best answer I have received is "try again later". I will not be coming back to use this service again.

The Internet connect speed is not fast…
The Internet connect speed is not fast enough. Oftentimes it's only between 20 to 30 mbs, but my friend use another company esim gets more than 100 mbs. I plan to use their esim next time when I visit japan.
Currently is Guernsey and Ubigi does…
Currently is Guernsey and Ubigi does not work. It does not connect the Sure Mobile, the local mobile phone provider. I have gone through every step of their set up process on multiple tries and no success. I would like a refund and Ubigi must stop offering coverage for Guernsey when it simply does not work. I would like a refund.

Hasn't been working for me reliably in most of areas im visiting in London! have tried several different settings but still not successful. in most areas its not working. id say working in 20-30% areas.

Ubigi gave a range of different plans to suit our holiday needs and lenth of time for a very reasonable price. I had almost bought through a different company until a friend recommended Ubigi. I did have a little issue with first setting up the sim but we will blame that on the user. LoL

Excellent service and coverage
My data plan worked throughout the different regions in Japan. My speed was 5G which allowed me to stream my favorite tv shows. My connection was never throttled. Ubigi worked as advertised.
