Esim didn't work on arrival at Japan. Sent messages for help on Whatsapp and got quick, helpful responses from Chillax. Problem resolved after Chillax sent me a new esim. Will buy from them again given their good support.

Slow Internet via China
Extremely easy to setup SIM card with Android phone. Fully compatible with JMP Sim Manager from F-Droid, so there is no need to download their dodgy app. Internet is routed via Hong Kong and is very slow. Roaming on Verizon in USA at around 0.5Mbit. No way I will ever use 20GB that was purchased. On top of everything it comes with Chinese IP address and all online payments are blocked in US due to fraud. I need to connect to WiFi in order to purchase anything online (like museum tickets). Would not recommend using their services

Frank just helped me get connected to the internet. I would suggest adding a note to the email reminding customers to “go to “travel” then turn Data Roaming on, or something like that so it’s clear what needs to be done. Unfortunately, I lost a day without internet access, but I’m happy that everything is working now. Thank you for your help.
