I would order this test also for family members. Highly recommended.
You can understand how your body history work
Very useful reports for the 5 tests which I have uploaded to NotebookLM and got a fantastic comparison
The report is easy to read, full of valuable information and very clear explanation. It really feels like a life hack.
Sample collection process was simple enough. Report had more categories that I expected, and the scientific details were also good
From ordering to receiving to sending my sample, it was fast and made easy for me with clear instructions. Plus it was affordable. I send an email to ask if my sample was received and it was replied quickly and reassuringly. App was easy to install. And I could track what was happening to my sample too. I was told the report will be ready by 9th March - I received it on 16th Feb @ 3.20pm - how cool is that ? As for the report, I can view it anytime on the App plus I have a pdf summary. The details provided plus suggestions is much much more than I expected. It is life changing data for me as an individual and surprisingly so accurate ! I now know what is a waste of time and where to put my resources, health wise, to have the best results.
I purchased a CircleDNA test kit and was unable to activate the specimen kit despite repeated attempts. Customer support initially replied that the kit was inactive on their end, but even after following their instructions and retrying multiple times, activation continued to fail. Since then, I have attempted to contact CircleDNA daily for over a week through multiple channels and have received no further response. I am now left with a paid but unusable kit, no way to dispatch the specimen to their lab, and no resolution or follow-up from customer support. This is particularly disappointing given that this is a paid genetic testing service, where reliability and responsiveness are critical. At present, I have incurred a significant cost for a product that does not work. I would caution others to consider the risk of poor after-sales support should anything go wrong with the kit.
I have a pathogenic C9orf72 mutation and frontotemporal degeneration. This mutation causes dementia and ALS. In the section for frontotemporal dementia there was no test for C9orf72 mutations. The penetrance rate ie likelihood of disease is 90%. Instead, they tested for C8orf49, which is prognostic for endometriosis. If they can’t test for a known cause of FTD and put a biomarker for endometriosis in the FTD section - what else is messed up ?
It was one of the best things I did for myself. Now I know to change my diet and habits to prevent to pull the trigger in possible disease. So comprehensive report I was shocked to see characteristics of mine that I know I have or patterns. Amazing
Very detailed report done in a timely manner. I am adjusting my suppliment intake according to my results in the Nutrition catagory. I am happy with the number of catagories and the detailed analysis.
Everything went smoothly - test kit arrived quickly and test results came back way before estimated date. The accompanying details/information that comes with each report on the app is interesting and useful to know. As a result of the this, I am trying a few focused lifestyle changes based off the insights I’ve learned.
Bit of a worry with this test. It failed to detect a mutation that I have a confirmed clinical history with. I didn't actually buy the kit specifically to check that gene, but I checked the raw data file they provided and found that my specific variant (rs730881308) was identified as T/T (Normal). If this test misidentifies a known significant mutation as normal, it makes me question how reliable the rest of the report. When I emailed them about this and asked for an explanation or a refund, I just got the run around with appointment offers, a genetic counsellor can only explain the results on hand, they cannot go back in time and re sequence my DNA to find the deletion the machine missed. Under Australian Consumer Law, a product should do what it says on the tin. This didn't.
They are an expensive service but not worth it at all. They took my money promptly, delivered the kit. I returned it as per instructions but it was received faulty. So far so good. They then asked me to write back and ask for a replacement kit. Well if the kit is no good then why not just send me one ? Anyway since then I have asked for a replacement kit 3 times but there is no response. It seems like a scam and totally not worth it.
Their customer care is very, very poor. There was an issue with the Airway bill to return the kit. I have written them three emails in six days, but there has been no reply. I had ordered five kits from them and was not expecting this kind of poor customer support.
Great customers service over the email. I had issue sending it back due to the code. I then emailed them, got a solution after a week and someone dropby and picked it up instead. Details report on the app. Even thou it is not the cheapest kit but worthy.
To understand my ancestry and original roots, I wanted to discover where I truly come from. It was both fascinating and surprising to learn that my genetic background includes races and ethnicities I had never imagined or guessed before. In addition, I wanted to identify the type of diet and nutrition that best suits my body, so that I can live more efficiently, healthily, and in harmony with my genetic makeup.
