What people say

Been happily working with them since 2020

I've been using CPAs for Expats for the last five years and will keep going back for my tax returns. I'm a dual citizen with overseas interests but they make my life easier. Moshe has been in charge of me for the last few years, and I've found him efficient, courteous and a pleasure to work with. I feel confident in his expertise and in deligating all the heavy lifting to him.

As a Canadian citizen

As a Canadian citizen, I utilize CPAs for my U.S. tax filings. Their services have consistently proven efficient and user-friendly. I particularly value their cost-effectiveness and prompt email correspondence. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking dependable and trustworthy accounting professionals. My experience with them has been entirely satisfactory.

I recently worked with Moshe Neveloff…

I recently worked with Moshe Neveloff at cpasforexpats.com for company tax filings. I run a U.S. company remotely from the UK. Moshe made the entire process incredibly smooth and stress-free. He was professional, responsive, and very knowledgeable about cross-border tax issues. I truly appreciate the quality of service I received, and I would highly recommend Moshe and cpasforexpats.com to anyone needing reliable and expert tax support.

Accurate, good and reliable

CPAs for Expats (Moshe) has been taking care of both my personal and three business filings (1 US, 2 EU) for the past five years or so. I could truly recommend them and Moshe. They’ve always been punctual, precise and effective. In the pastI’ve worked with other CPA services aiming at expats but none of them lived up to my expectations, especially not taking their fees into consideration. So if these guys keep it up, I won’t be going anywhere.

Missed the deadline!!!

Missed the deadline!!! I know this company has tons of rave reviews, but I gave Joseph all my information in FEBRUARY, and he did not complete my return in time. The IRS said in early October the deadlines stand, despite the shutdown. I'm now looking at how to file a delinquent FBAR without incurring a $5,000 penalty. Fortunately, as an expat, I do not have taxes to pay, so I will avoid paying extra there. I will have to find someone else to do my return, and file it late. UPDATE: After I submitted this review, I received an angry email from Joseph Sherman, telling me the FBAR had been submitted on time, and demanding I remove the review immediately. When I asked for proof of submission, he provided an e-file confirmation notice dated October 15th. The file metadata show it was actually created on October 19th, four days after the deadline. Next, I received an invoice, together with dire warnings as to what would happen if I did not pay immediately, for the FBAR and for the tax return. I then asked Joseph for proof they had filed for a (non-automatic) extension. He provided a pdf of the extension request, dated October 10th. The file metadata show the pdf was created on October 21st, six days after the request submission deadline. They finally produced the completed tax return on October 27th.

Dear Russell, We’re sorry to hear about your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify. Your FBAR and tax filings were submitted on time — the confirmation file was generated from our system on October 19th but confirms an e-file date of October 15th, which was before the deadline. The extension PDF shows a later creation date only because it was exported from our internal document when you requested a PDF copy, not when it was originally filed. We appreciate your feedback and remain focused on upholding the highest professional standards. CPAs for Expats

I have been working with Paul at CPA for Expats for over six years now and he is always so helpful, informative and responsive. Any question that I have, he answers with kindness and professionalism. His service alone makes me come back and use this same company for my taxes every year. Paul, you are very appreciated!

My First Tax Returns

My First Tax Returns Rachmiel helped me with my first filling and had the patience to explain every concern and question I had, he even amended the file when I discovered a mistake I made when confirming my information. Thank you very much for all efforts and until next year!
