I have used CPAs for Expats for several years now and do not plan on switching, Dina and team are quick to answer questions, the work is accurate and price is reasonable.

I appreciated how proactive the team…

I appreciated how proactive the team was at CPA's for Expats. I didn't have to chase them. The process was clear and not cumbersome. I found 2 mistakes in the final tax return though so I think they need to focus more on detail. Luckily I found them and they were resolved quickly.

So far disappointing

Updated Sep 30, 2024 CPAs for expats responded and requested further details. I don't have any other details other than the tax preparer who was handling my taxes. His name was Tyler Leskin. CPAs said "emails can be delayed". This is the problem. You can't call or chat with a CPA like with Turbotax. You are stuck with corresponding by email, and when your CPA doesn't respond in a timely manner what are you supposed to do? How is this service better than Turbotax? ----- I contacted this service via an online webform multiple times to get started and didn't hear back. Then I sent them a direct email and I was contacted by a tax preparer. Unfortunately, it has been two weeks and they still haven't started working on my taxes because we are communicating by email and it takes the preparer several days to respond. I called the company's phone number but it is voicemail. I am now shopping for another service having wasted two weeks. I may just go back to Turbotax where I finished my taxes in two days and CPAS responded within a short period.

Better than "Bright"

I used another "Bright" company to do my expat Tax for several years but the price went higher and higher. This year I worked with Dina. I found Dina helpful and responsive. My return was completed quickly. I estimate I saved $350 compared to the other guys. I recommend.

This was my first time having to file US taxes from abroad and I found CPAs for Expats extremely efficient and helpful. Joseph assisted me in completing and filing my returns and he was fantastic. I will definitely be using them again.

Best Tax Services Decision I Made...

Changing to CPAs for Expats was the best decision I made for getting my taxes done. Joseph S has been extremely helpful and answered my numerous questions quickly and kindly. I admit I was nervous doing taxes online for the first time but this was a great experience and I plan on using their services moving forward.
