I am so glad I came upon this company. Of all of the financial problems one can have in life, sorting taxation out, rates among the top. I had taxation problems from U.K. to U.S. Their method of collecting information on line and compiling it was first class and they always came back to me very quickly. I will be staying with them,

The platform is clear on process and steps , the questionnaire could cover my need adequate (dual status alien with foreign account and funds) Sloppy at first with a EA assigned to me, took her 3,4 months back and forth to ask a lot of questions that I've already provided in the questionnaire / email / in the document I attached. And she still couldn't get my return done. I complained a few times, then they switched my advisor to another CPA, she cleaned up everything in one week, and no more stupid questions, only valid one, very easy to communicate with and responsive. Love the second one so much I ask for her for my next year.

I’ve had a very positive experience with TFX. Their team is incredibly responsive, and although the communications can sometimes come thick and fast, it reflects how much support they provide throughout the process. The guidance is comprehensive, the app is intuitive and easy to use, and I particularly like that I can complete my tax return at my own pace. It’s simple to pause, come back later, and clearly see what’s been completed and what still needs attention. Overall, TFX has made what could be a daunting process feel well organised and manageable. I’d happily recommend them.
My experience was very different from all the nice reviews here. My T4E preparer tried to increase my bill with unnecessary filings. I was a US citizen working in London and my job required me to attend an one-week training course near San Francisco. My T4E preparer argued forcefully that I must file a California state tax return to cover the week I was there. Not sure if I was more astonished by the incompetence or the aggressiveness to increase my billing with unnecessary forms and filings. I do not recommend Taxes for Expats.

Consistently improving year after year The features and UI details are improving yearly, and this reduces some of the ambiguity doing taxes. The responsiveness of staff on WhatsApp is great: I can get any answer I need relatively quickly.

This was my second year with TFX. It was even easier than the first year, because a considerable number of data fields did not need to change. Besides, Andrew Foster was great like the first time. Customer Service also kept me on track with timely reminders.
