Worst service and food I ever had at a Cracker Barrel. 5 in restaurant and 1 go order, took @1 hour to receive food which was lukewarm at best and not good. Service was terrible i.e. asked for ketchup at beginning of meal never got, glasses stayed empty and when got refills served wrong beverage. Will never go to another Cracker Barrel again.
Had lunch at Greenville Al Wednesday July 29, 2026 Waitress was excellent, she should be training waitress across the country I think her name was milessa or milinda young lady long braided hair glasses. She was the best server I've had in a long time including fine dining The food was very good, hot well prepared but it was served perfectly salad first then entre tea was constantly monitored....most pleasant dining experiences if had in a long time.
I ordered the chicken strips to and my wife, who has Celiac disease asked for an intact baked potato in order to eliminate cross contamination. The order was to go from the store in Sturbridge, MA. The potato was undercooked. The biggest complain was the rubbery, inedible chicken strips. There was maybe 10% that I could actually eat (with great difficulty). We have been to many Cracker Barrel stores from Pennsylvania down to Florida and the food has always been excellent. One more experience like this, no matter where we are, will be our last to ANY Cracker Barrel. Who ever took over the company is running it into the ground, going by our , and other’s, experiences.

Chicken was like rubber, wife hated it. Pecan pancakes were good. Side of bacon was a rip off, they took whole slices and cut them in half by the looks they were like 3" long. Also double.charged my credit card, went back the next day and they said they would have to ask corporate for a refund. Week later and nothing so I disputed it. I asked how they could balance their receipts and got nothing. Guy in front of me had card issues so I asked if they would look at his and they said his problem if he doesn't call he out the money. LESSON IS EVERYONE CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARDS AFTER YOU GO TO CRACKER BARREL IT APPEARS THEY DONT VERIFY RECEIPTS AGAINST CHARGES LIKE THEY SHOULD.
My family and I are frequent customers at the Cadiz, KY location and we always request ADRIANA as our waitress! We have actually left if she is not working and will wait if she doesn’t have a table available. She is the absolute best! We have been requesting her for a couple years now. She ALWAYS has a smile on her face and a positive attitude, very sweet and kind! It is very rare to find someone so young that is as amazing as she is at her job!
The management and staff were all very accommodating during my mother-in-law's 80th birthday celebration on Eisenhower Parkway in Macon. The manager, Rosa, even assisted in taking orders and going above and beyond to ensure everyone was served. Rosa is the best manager I have seen leading with servanthood.
Cold food both times we went. Family was disappointed and service was ….. slow cheese wasn’t even melted and was cold on top of hot meal.” Hot meal was not hot!!
Poor service (waitress), poor service (kitchen), AND overcharged! Won’t be back. Only 9 of 22 tables in our section were filled, but Very slow getting us our food!! Order was wrong. Had to constantly ask for drink refills and the ones with no ice came with ice. However, the lady at register was very nice. The incorrect pricing comes from the waitress putting order in wrong! 😑 Oh! And there was still trash under our table from the previous customers.
So disappointed. Hadn't been to CB in about 10 years. Ordered the Campfire Beef. After about 5 minutes, meal came to the table wrapped in a yard of heavy duty foil. Had to fight to get to my odd-tasting lemonade. When opened, the meal portion was surprisingly small, about the size of a large saucer, not what it looks like in the ad for this dish. Beef was tender but tasteless, onions and carrots were mushy, potatoes were slightly larger than the grape tomatoes, which were also mushy. Biscuits were small, not Grands size. If I had to guess, I would say the food was prepared hours ago, like stale coffee. Service was fine for the mostly empty location at 3 30. Never again.
**Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Prattville** My wife (62), a Cracker Barrel member, suggested we visit the restaurant in the afternoon for coffee and sweets, as we usually do on Sundays. After we were seated and ordered from the waitress, we received coffee in cups that were only about two-thirds full, along with the cinnamon rolls we wanted to share. We requested two empty plates for our food. Unfortunately, the coffee arrived lukewarm, and we received just one plate with no silverware. We asked the waitress for full cups of hot, fresh coffee, silverware, and another plate, as we had ordered. After about 10 to 15 minutes, she returned with the same partially filled coffee cups and apologized for the delay, explaining that she had to wait for the microwave to heat up. Given the price and the level of service, it will be a long time before we have our coffee at Cracker Barrel again.

My wife and I hadn't been to a Cracker Barrel in years. Our memory of the restaurant is positive. Based on that remembrance, we ate at the Gurnee Wisconsin location. To put it plainly, the food was awful. It was the first time I've ever been able to lift my entire portion of mashed potatoes with a fork. It was like a flying saucer. The side dishes taste like they come from a generic frozen bag. Portions are small. Which seems like the old joke about complaints. Clearly, Cracker Barrel is just biding its time, and stashing away money, until they declare bankruptcy. On the other hand, the servers were very good. I felt bad for them as they probably deal with unhappy customers every day. My wife and I shall remember the Cracker Barrel of olde.
we've been coming to the Clinton Cracker Barrel for over 20 years and have had wonderful service, especially by Marie, she is upbeat and friendly and quick service. the food is terrific and we love the shopping experience, my wife will always find something new to buy, and we enjoy the tasty treats available to purchase.
Chanel was our server at the Moss Point, MS Cracker Barrel and she was absolutely the best server we’ve had. She made eating there a 5 star experience!
Wife and I were looking forward to having the Campfire Beef and the Campfire chicken. AFTER our order was placed our server, Tanisha had to come back to our table and inform us, there wasn't any beef left. I'm disappointed but I chose the chicken. So, when our Campfire dinners were placed on our table, after opening the foil wrapping we found NO corn on the cob. Now frustrated and disappointed, I called Tanisha back and told her our corn was forgotten. That's when the manager, Alex come to us and said what side can I give you to replace the corn? The small bowl of green beans for me and mashed potatoes for my wife did not make up for the missing corn on the cob. The manager told us she was going to reduce the TAB, because of the errors that accured in the kitchen. THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN EITHER! I'm adding this was our second visit to this Cracker Barrel. The first visit the Campfire Beef was not available when. Also the watermelon lemonade tasted watered down. WE WERE CHARGED THE FULL TAB. Tanisha was wonderful, she was probably as frustrated as we were as she was not informed about the beef or the corn on the cob issues. Alex the manager? She needs to be retrained on her responsibility. We will not return.
Lately, I've noticed a decline in the quality and taste of the turnip greens. It appears and tastes like they use old meat to season the greens. The texture of the meat is like chewing on a spit ball.😖The last few times I've patronized them, they failed to put the basic condiment (butter) to go with my cornbread muffins even after asking when I put my order in.
I visited the location in Regency (Jacksonville,Fl) CB0511 and was met with warm smiles from the moment I entered the restaurant but I must give a special shout out to Dan G. He greeted me with his name and told me his goal was to make me feel special and he did just that. I’ve gone to several restaurants all over the United States and hands down Dan G is the best waiter I’ve ever had. He deserves to be recognized. Mrs. Clayton
My waiter was so nice and kind and the food was great I ate at Terre haute and it was great!
Service was extremely slow. The food was basically inedible. Apparently they are using a new grease or oil for cooking and everything tasted 'off'. I couldn't even eat my eggs! The patty sausage was not edible. The biscuits were TINY and didn't taste great. We tried the skillet cinnamon rolls, but they tasted bad and left a horrible aftertaste. So more than $30 for 2 inedible breakfasts. We won't be back.
