Best private tour operator to visit anywhere in Tibet!!!
I would like to share our family's experience with Tibet China International Travel Service. We are a family of five who visited Tibet this summer, and we could not be more satisfied with the service provided.
While researching reputable companies for a private tour, I came across a post from Xi-Mei (喜美) at Tibet China International Travel Service. Throughout the planning process, Xi-Mei was exceptionally responsive despite a 12-hour time difference. She accommodated all of my requested upgrades to the standard package, provided a fair quote. Wiring the down payment to an official Chinese Travel Agency account also gave us complete peace of mind that we were working with a fully licensed operation.
The trip itself was outstanding. Our tour guide, Nomad K, spoke fluent English, and the driver 小陈 (Mr. Chen) was extremely courteous. Mr. Chen maintained regular contact with HQ dispatch while navigating mountainous roads. Their care allowed us to safely and fully enjoy Tibet's beautiful scenery and rich culture.
Furthermore, the tour operator did everything they promised. When our first day's itinerary was canceled due to Typhoon Bavi in Shanghai, Xi-Mei guided us through submitting the airline cancellation notices and promptly processed a full refund of 4,800 RMB for our missed hotel night upon the completion of our trip.

I booked a private trip to Tibet for my family, including my parents and two kids. Xiao Zou (喜美) was so helpful during the planning phase and gave me a lot of good advice, making sure the plan suited both my parents and my boys. During the 1-week trip, our driver and guide were very professional, adapted to our schedule, and took care of any adjustments we wanted. The views were outstanding, the food was great, and the hotel was comfortable. It was a perfect family trip. Highly recommended.

We thank Tibet CTSXZ XiaoZhou for organising a great program for us with the railway tickets from Xining to Lhasa, enthusiastic and patient drivers, comfortable 9-seater standard airline-style nanny van and hotel rooms. This journey allowed us to appreciate every beautiful spot we passed along the way. Although we occasionally had gently altitude sickness, we always remembered what XiaoZhou told us to maintain good mindset to face it and gratefully we got through safely.

My friend and I took a 12-days Tibet tour in May, 2026. It was truly an unforgettable trip. The landscapes -snowy peaks, holy lakes were breathtaking. The altitude sickness was tough at first, but it actually taught us to slow down and respect nature. And experiencing Tibetan firsthand, from the monks discuss philosophy and the pilgrims pray made it all feel so much more powerful and impressive.
Our guide Dawa was wonderful—he looked after our health and shared everything with such warmth and professionalism that we really felt connected to Tibet. And Our Sales Ximei was always quick to respond and patient with all our questions and adjustments. He handled every detail smoothly, so we never had to worry.
