Early Paydays and Great Features Outweigh Slow Dispute Policies
I've been using Current since 2019 and it's been great. I get my direct deposit no less than 3-4 days early every time. Their customer service is prompt and very helpful. I'll admit when I first joined, the customer service at the time was a bit iffy and there wasn't a phone number you could call but so much has improved since then. The only thing I think could use improvement is how long the dispute process takes, or at least their policy on issuing a provisional credit during the investigation. I've had to make a couple disputes over the years and it takes a pretty long time for them to complete, which would be fine except they don't give you a provisional credit until 30 business days after the dispute date if they're still investigating it at that time. But other than that I'm really happy with Current. The main things I Iike the most about them is that I get paid early, I'm able to get an advance on some of my pay, I have access to virtual cards as well as physical ones (for both my debit and credit builder account) and I can lock and unlock the card in the app and block individual merchants. Current is compatible with Plaid and accepted when connecting to almost any other app, which is a huge plus in my opinion.
