I am writing to bring to your attention to several issues I have encountered with a recent transaction facilitated through Dan.com. Unfair Negotiation Tactics: The seller changed the agreed-upon price multiple times after initial acceptance and payment, which I believe is a violation of fair negotiation practices and your Terms of Use, specifically Section 5.3.11, which prohibits "false or deceptive language." After I made the payment, the seller refused to complete the transaction, that the price would be higher. I believe the seller's actions and the handling of this transaction may have violated your Terms of Use. Specifically, the seller's actions constitute "false, abusive or fraudulent activity" as outlined in Section 5.3.12 of your Terms of Use. Furthermore, the seller's messages to the Dan.com team, which contradict my (Buyer's) understanding and agreements, suggest potential deceptive practices. For instance, the seller's request to cancel the transaction due to a "technical glitch" and their claim of a misunderstanding about the price agreement are inconsistent with our separate correspondence. Dan.com customer service was unwilling or unable to support the buyer in this transaction. Though they were willing to refund the initial payment, it was not the remedy that aligned with fair negotiation nor the so-called legally binding agreement. Edit 7/8/24: I have attempted to provide additional information, per the commented request, but Trustpilot has told me the needed link expired after just 3 days from my initial post and cannot be re-opened. I am still seeking a resolution from Dan.com.

What do you call an unethical company whose goal is to not serve its customers and rather are driven by greed and money? Dan.com & godaddy.com Godaddy and its affiliates are nothing but crooked organization who wants to cheat and fraud its customers. They do not care about their customers and are not in business to serve with integrity. Do not do business with Godaddy.com and its affiliates.

Sold a few domains through Dan, but my last sale after 20 days is still pending. Has been transferred to the new owner long time ago but DAN still has to verify with afternic. Both of them are under the Godaddy umbrella so I wonder what the delay is. Have pulled all my domains from them. Going to sell them through another broker or directly as I have done in the past. A three star rating as I did not have issues in the past, but now they pass on the buck to someone else

Dangerous, nasty pieces of work. Infiltrating personal messages and tagging themselves on to it. You could literally be saying privately someone has died, push send and the message goes through with tagged on, "Song.com Domains for $$$$$" Disgusting cesspits of human beings. If you try and delete, you have to delete the whole conversation. This kind of intrusion in the UK would see folk knocking on doors. When i complained, they said sends us the convo.....so you scammers?.....You have a great day now.

Never, ever, ever engage with purchasing anything through Dan.com and Godaddy. A week ago, we've purchased domain name and wired payment little over $8k. Week went by, and earlier today, we were informed that domain is not owned by seller anymore AND they can't locate our payment. Ridiculous thing here is that domain is listed on DAN.com now for $5k. After few email exchanges, they've told us that first payment will be refunded, but we need to make a purchase, again. So at that point, they're holding $8k. Asking that we get in touch with seller directly since this domain is crucial for our deadline (we were fooled by Trustpilot reviews that transfer should be quick), they've denied - privacy laws, concerns and whatsoever. Okay, let's make another purchase. After we wired another $5k to them, we were just informed "Our finance and transfer team is out of the office and we can't do a THING before Monday". Our project deadline is 6/9 (Sunday). What happened? Dan is effectively holding over $13k of our money in their possession, not giving us domain name, and we now need to make ANOTHER purchase, directly with seller. I advise you, DO NOT ENGAGE IN DOING BUSINESS WITH DAN.COM, GODADDY.COM OR ANY OF THEIR SUBSIDIARIES.

BUYERS/RENTERS BEWARE! The Dan.com company must be a fraudulent operation and they’re using “TrustPilot” illegally on their website. They are trying to sell/lease the domain “boothdoorpetsdeliveryservice.com” which was used fraudulently in October 2023 to scam me out of $500+ to ship 2 Siamese kittens. This shipping company was associated with a scam kitten website that stole $1000 from me on false pretenses thinking I had purchased 2 Siamese kittens. The whole sham operation (kitten sale and shipping) was a major scam!! DON’T TRUST DAN.COM

I ordered an e mountain bike via the cycle to work scheme. Cycle Solutions kept in touch throughout the ordering process to delivery. Could not have been more helpful. Delivery was the problem. Unfortunately CS have chosen to use TNT as their courier. It took one week to transport the bike from Wales to Scotland with delivery to wrong depots etc. I won’t elaborate how useless TNT are as a logistics outfit. Suffice to say they are dire. I have marked down one star for this reason. CS I urge you to sever ties with TNT. They are the reason for the majority of your negative reviews. You deserve to partner with a better courier.

We have been using DAN for years to buy and also sell domain names. Legitimate marketplace. Top-notch support and great UX. Recommend to anyone. We know dozens of others who also use DAN regularly. If you are looking to buy a domain then DAN is one of the best platforms to use, If not, The Best.
