What people say

No credit refunds when software doesn't follow prompt

Video quality is good but engine interprets prompts incorrectly at times, making the videos useless. When the software does not do what it was designed to do, your credits are still used and not refunded. It can take several iterations to get the video correct but you lose credits, and given the cost, means very few videos per month with the basic paid subscription.

These are my beginner experiences

These are my beginner experiences. I am still learning how to formulate prompts correctly so that the results are as consistent as possible with my vision. Yes, the price is quite high, but I hope that with further development in the AI market it will stabilize at an acceptable level. That is all from my side.

not ready

when it works is brilliant with great results. can create stuff very hard to do. then at some point it seems it become dumb as a donkey. and does it all wrong. even if you rewrite the prompt nothing changes. even qhen the "auto prompt" is totally correct often the result is horrible.ususally after 45 minutes of work or so seems impossible to go on. because does all wrong anyway. seems almost on purpose.also if you don't use your credits in the month they get lost. and this is totally unacceptable.

I signed up expecting the $10/month…

I signed up expecting the $10/month plan. The pricing page shows an "Anual" / "Mensual" toggle at the top, and it's very easy to click through without realizing which one is selected - I ended up being charged $120 for a full year instead of $10 for the month I actually wanted. I contacted their support within literally one minute of the charge, asking for cancellation and a refund. I also found multiple other reviews here describing the exact same issue - people unintentionally ending up on annual plans due to this same confusing toggle. Based on what I've read, Deevid has a strict no-refund policy even in cases like this, so I've had to open a dispute with my bank instead of getting it resolved directly with the company. If you're considering signing up, take a screenshot of the plan you select before confirming, and think twice before touching that toggle.

I do not recommend this application. Paying for a platform that makes mistakes and uses up your credits to fix the mistakes.

I do not recommend this application at all, especially for content creators that make a lot of content per month. Absolutely frustrating to use. It makes mistakes when generating your videos and you have to then use up the same amount of credits to fix the errors. It only offers a roundabout way of first generating images which also uses credits, then using more credits to fix the image, if the image has spelling errors and stuff. This takes more time by the way. Then you have to use some more credits for the generation of the video using the images. By the time you are done, you have used up all the credits for the month. I think they do this to get you forking out more money to create content. I dont even want a refund but fixing of mistakes should be free because I am not paying for a video to have mistakes. How do I post that nonsense? Why they dont allow us to fix mistakes for free is beyond me.

Watch out for subscription plan

I made a mistake subscribing monthly but for a year plan. Even if i didnt touch the credits the refund was not available. I made a compromis with them, but still find this terrible. Video results are still in process of investigation, but overall expereince is vague, especially comparing this service with other providers for much less. If i read this sooner i wouldnt have registered.

Overall a disappointing experience

When the output is good, it's real good, especially regarding the vibes of a clip, the only reason why I still buy credit. Overall, the performance is weak, lots of mistakes contradicting instructions, no learning effects, on the contrary, I've got the impression the model gets weaker and less and less reliable. Main problem is that there is no possibility to reject a poor creation and get the credit refunded. A big push in terms of quality is needed, otherwise I can't see DeeVid AI surviving against competition.

Good Enough for me

it took some learning to achieve what I wanted to do - I lost a lot of coins to mistakes that I had made. But now its perfectly functional for my application. Which is to voice some recurring characters that appear in my YouTube channel. I have these set up as avatars and add an MP3 which they lip sync to. I'd describe it as good-enough animation for my needs and budget

DeeVid is easy to use

DeeVid is easy to use. However, the AI does not execute flawlessly. It takes some work to ensure that what you want is actually produced. Word are often mangled, so avoid words altogether. Also, be mindful that you cannot cancel if you realize your prompt has an error, which is very unfortunate.
