Cheap good information only thing that needs to be changed is the BAC content for dui n dwi cops will arrest you for .04 or .05 if they feel like it

Thank you for your 4-star review, Gabriel! We're glad you found the course cheap and the information good overall. If there is anything else we could've done to earn that 5th star, let us know.
Your feedback about the BAC content for DUI/DWI is valid. You're right that law enforcement can make arrests for impairment at BAC levels lower than the legal limit of .08. We appreciate you pointing this out, as accuracy in this important topic matters. Our content follows the guidelines set by the NYS DMV for approved courses, but your specific feedback about this discrepancy is worth reviewing.
Thank you for choosing Defensive Drivers Institute!
My experience was great because everything was in each module you just have to read and retain what you read and d make sure you remember what you read to answer the questions.

What this company did really good on was pounding the laws into your brain, and that made the final exam that much easier
What this company did really good on when it came to the material that you had to read, is the fact that even though there's a timer on the courses which there's 27 courses, but when the timer runs out it allows you all the time you need to finish reading the material. And that's what I really needed because I got to read stuff a little slower than the average person and sometimes I got to reread it two or three different times for it to finally stick in my brain. And then they really get you ready for the final exam because they keep punching the facts of the law in your brain over and over and over again. Which I've been driving for years and even though this was my first accident ever and I'm 50 years old, I still found it informative and there was some things on there that I guess I didn't really know. So I guess what I'm saying is in a big way I'm glad I had to take this course because it was like a good refresher course on the right away of driving, and I do believe that it's actually going to make me that much more cautious when it comes to driving. And for anybody who didn't like this course I just have something to say to them, and it comes from the TV series Happy Days. And here it is if you didn't like it you can sit on it! Because I'm sure the only reason why you didn't like it is you were probably too busy partying or distracted like you're driving skills, but I'll leave that group of people alone now because it's bad enough they've failed. Well that's what I got to say about this course. Now I'm going yield my thoughts and give the right of way back to trustpilot. Because it is the RIGHT thing to do.

Thank you for this wonderful 5-star review, Jack! We absolutely love your enthusiasm and detailed feedback.
Your point about the timer allowing extra reading time for those who need it is exactly what we want - we understand that people learn at different paces, and the course should accommodate that. Your comment about the repetition helping you retain the facts and feel more confident is meaningful feedback. And the fact that after 50 years of driving, you still found new information and feel more cautious going forward is exactly the kind of impact we hope to have.
Thank you for choosing Defensive Drivers Institute, and thank you for being willing to share your experience so thoughtfully!

This 5-hour course was super convenient, easy to follow, and straightforward. The only downside is that the quizzes don't show you the correct answers for the questions you get wrong. Still much better than going to a classroom!

Thank you for your 5-star review on Trustpilot, Natalie! We're glad you found the 5-hour course convenient, easy to follow, and straightforward.
Regarding the quiz answers, we completely agree that showing correct answers for questions you get wrong would be helpful for learning. Unfortunately, New York State regulations require that we don't reveal answers since students are allowed multiple attempts to pass the quizzes. We have to follow this regulation to remain an approved provider.
We appreciate your understanding, and we're pleased to hear you prefer this online format to a classroom experience. Thank you for choosing Defensive Drivers Institute!
