DistroKid delivered my music FAST and I couldn't be happier! As an independent artist under Dragon Records Entertainment, speed matters — and DistroKid delivered. You work fast and effectively

You work fast and effectively. So one thing that i cannot change but so you shouldn’t either is the fact that i was getting emails during my resting time. I don’t know of a way to make this better since you arr a global team and work 24/7 and i needed the feedback anyway. Another thing that i noticed is that i didn’t had the chance to pitch any of my first 3 singles. So i just guess i can try next time.

I have cancelled my DistroKid membership, removed all of my music from your platform, and cancelled the Leave a Legacy add-on. I no longer trust DistroKid as a long-term distribution partner.

I am cancelling my DistroKid membership, deleting all of my releases, and cancelling the Leave a Legacy add-on because I no longer have confidence in your policies or your customer support. The reason is not your general AI policy. The reason is your Social Media Pack application, its contradictory rules, and your support team's inability to explain them consistently. My complaint is not about AI music distribution. My complaint is only about the Social Media Pack application, its rules, and the way they are presented to customers. Your Social Media Pack rules tell customers that AI-generated music is allowed, while at the same time requiring that the music must not have been created by AI. That is a direct contradiction. It is the equivalent of saying: "You can drive a Ferrari, provided it wasn't built by Ferrari." If AI-generated music is categorically ineligible for Social Media Pack, then your application process and eligibility rules should clearly state that from the very beginning. Instead, customers are encouraged to apply for a service that your own support later confirms they can never qualify for. That is misleading. What made this experience even worse was your customer support. Instead of recognizing that I was pointing out a contradiction in your own Social Media Pack policy, multiple support agents repeatedly tried to answer a completely different question. The longer the conversation continued, the further your support moved away from my original question. It took weeks and multiple support agents before I finally received the simple answer that should have been obvious from the beginning: AI-generated music is not eligible for Social Media Pack. No customer should have to spend weeks discovering what could have been communicated in a single sentence. If that is your actual policy, then write exactly that. Do not create an application process that suggests otherwise. Clear rules save customers time. Contradictory rules waste them.

I have uploaded and managed music releases, completed release metadata, monitored the review and distribution process, and tracked streaming performance and royalties through the DistroKid dashboard.
