Good phone call with salesperson/owner. Product arrived timely. Product had dust inside due to storage and/or transportation, and had small scratches inside which was deemed to be a manufacturing issue and not impact product performance. Our grill arrived with a missing part…
Our grill arrived with a missing part that is needed to assemble the grill. its a large piece so not sure how that was left out. I've been following up for a month and the manufacturer still hasn't shipped it out. Dreamwood promised to stay on top of it but the responses are lackluster and sporadic. Unimpressed for a $5000 purchase.

We understand how frustrating this must be, especially with a large item like this and for a $5,000 purchase. As a dealer, we have followed up multiple times with the manufacturer on your behalf to expedite the missing part. We can not control the rare occasion that a manufacturer may not include a part by mistake. All the items we sell are brand new. We can only try to fix the mistake as fast as possible which we are attempting to do. Unfortunately, this is a rare component that they do not keep in regular stock, which is why it has taken longer than expected to ship. We’ve done everything we can to push this along and will continue to stay on top of it for you. If there’s any additional information or support we can provide in the meantime (photos of the part for reference, temporary workarounds, etc.), please let us know. We want to make this right and ensure you’re fully satisfied with your grill. Thank you again for your patience.

I was on a tight deadline when I ordered the refrigerator and ice maker. The customer service was great but the outside shipping company messed up. My order was put on a truck for California instead of Florida. I am still waiting for my order to arrive.

Joe Saves the Day
Typically, I don't provide merchant reviews except for the occasional "check the box" rating. But in the case of my recent purchase from Dreamwood, I am compelled to do more. I was in the middle of a substantial home renovation and needed 2 fireplace inserts. My chimney guy told me that one of the selected units was out of stock and it would take at least four weeks for delivery. I checked with two other suppliers, and they confirmed that the unit was on back order. Understandably, my contractor was reluctant to move forward without having the product in hand. So, the framing, electrical work, chimney work, and stonework schedules were in jeopardy. I called Dreamwood and explained my dilemma and that I needed the products within seven to 10 days in order to avoid project delays. Dreamwood confirmed that one of the products was back ordered but they would try to locate it elsewhere. Within the hour, I received a call back from Joe, the owner of Dreamwood. He explained that he had located the back ordered unit, that he would match the lowest price quote I had received from the other suppliers, and that he would guarantee delivery within the required time frame. Having had several bad experiences with back ordered products, I was skeptical, but I placed the order. Two days later, I heard a knock on my door. A delivery service was there with my two units. They were securely packaged and in perfect condition. As I write, they are being installed. I don't know how Joe was able to locate, ship, and deliver this order from Michigan to South Carolina within 48 hours. But my project is back on schedule, and I am extremely grateful to Joe for his dedication and reliability. He has earned my respect, appreciation, and any future business I can direct his way. Joe & Dreamwood living are legit. I ordered a direct vent gas stove through DL & Joe was very thorough & knowledgeable in walking me thru the order, as well as providing shipping details. Although the shipping was delayed some, at no fault of DL, Joe communicated this & provided me a new shipping timeframe after he spoke with the factory. When the stove & supplies did arrive at the house, the shipping company was very professional & the stove was packaged well so as to prevent any damage while on the road. This charcoal grill gets to hot you can’t control the heat there’s to much air coming in I spent almost 4000 dollars Iam very disappointed if yall have any up grades to control the heat I would like yall to help me out with my problem when cooking chicken on the grill the grease dripping keeps the coals flaming burning everything on the grill so if you could help me some how I would appreciate it

We're truly sorry to hear about the frustration you've experienced with the heat control and flare-ups while cooking chicken. Spending that kind of money on a grill and not getting the results you want is disappointing, and we appreciate you letting us know so we can help. We actually tried reaching out to you numerous times by phone to offer support, but we weren't able to connect. We'd still love to assist you directly if you're open to it. In the meantime, here are some proven suggestions that can significantly help reduce excessive heat and manage flare-ups on charcoal grills: Use less charcoal: Start with a smaller amount (a chimney starter about ½ to ¾ full is often plenty for most cooking). You can always add more briquettes if needed, but it's much harder to cool things down once it's too hot. Improve airflow control: Make sure the vents are only partially open at first and then fine-tune the temperature. Closing them more will restrict oxygen and bring the heat down. Create different heat zones: Bank the coals to one side of the grill so you have a hot direct-heat side and a cooler indirect-heat side. This is especially helpful for chicken—sear on the hot side, then move to the cooler side to finish cooking without burning. Manage grease and flare-ups: Place a drip pan (disposable aluminum foil pan works great) under the chicken to catch the dripping grease before it hits the coals. You can also trim excess fat from the chicken beforehand and avoid sugary marinades/sauces until the very end of cooking, as they tend to cause more flare-ups. Consider a water pan: Placing a pan of water next to or above the coals can help moderate the temperature and add moisture, reducing the chance of burning.
