Works okay for WhatsApp transfer

Tried for moving WhatsApp messages to a new phone. Works okay, but too much hassle and flimsy, and to do it 3 times over 12 hours as it restarts fully every time one of the phones got disconnected. Also, didn't move media, only messages.

Alternative version of WhatsApp was installed

UPDATE: Yes, dr.fone will download alternative version of whats app, but then you have to do a back up of your whats app (i did not have the Google drive option it was backed up on my Samsung phone). Then i installed official whats app version and i had option to restore and everything was there. So it did work in the end, but it drove me crazy. OLD: So, after spending a lot of time transferring whats app from iphone 7 to Samsung S10 it seemed to work perfectly, all my whats app chats and media were transferred until the next day when my whats app started bugging, basically i could't use it. I went to the google store (to make sure i have the most recent version of whats app) only to see that WhatsApp has not even been installed. Dr. Fone installed some alternative version of WhatsApp that stopped working after less than one day.. So you can guess i lost all of my chats and attachments that i paid for. Im shocked that they can still operate this way..

Using Desk top is much easier than…

Using Desk top is much easier than laptop. Suggest back-up whats app to PC first then transfer to new device.

Pretty handy

Android to Whatsapp chat transfer

I really like the set up and the usability of this, however I came across some problems which I had to sort out myself. I was doing Android to IOS Whatsapp chat transfer, the instructions were clear and concise. For whatever reason it didn't work, after a while of fiddling with it and trying different things I eventually solved it by uninstalling I reinstalling the app which did the trick. Very good app maybe I was just unlucky with my needs

Worked well

Worked well - not perfectly, but really well. I bought a new phone and was able to transfer all my data and nearly all apps using Dr. Fone. It was relatively easy to do. I would recommend this program. Beats the heck out of going to the store to have them do it. Last time I bought a new phone, they were not able to transfer a lot of data, including my text msgs. I was pretty bummed. Dr. Fone did all that and more!

Whatsapp Transfer

I'm using Wondershare dr.fone to transfer whatsapp from old android phone to new iphone. At first, it was failed to transfer for so many attempts i've tried, but fortunately the customer support center was so fast to response and solve the problem.

Refund Process Needs Improvement

I was not entirely satisfied with the process but did ultimately obtain a refund.

A big plus comes with a price

A big plus! I've managed to transfer Whatsapp with all its data from an Android to a Iphone. A minor, it's not cheap...

It did the job

It did the job. I was concerned about buying a "hacking" tool. Downloaded app to Windos PC. Moved my chats from old android to new Iphone 11. Biggest problem was I had been swapping my WhatsApp account backwards and forwards between phones and WhatsApp so it made me wait for the security number to allow it. I would recommend watching the YouTube video about how to do it even though the step by step process is quite self explanatory. Only downside is that it is a bit pricy for an app that I will hopefully only have to use once.

A good tool. A little bit too expensive, or a backup tool should be included in the "livetime" licence. In any case, it gives a good answer to the shamefull killing of the HTC transfer tool which is no more running on a HTCu11+, despite what HTC and Google AppStore are saying. The connection process beetween the HTC and this DR-Phone can be rather long, you have to be patient. A good point: never more necessary to be connected to Google to install it. That's a example to be copied- pasted.

It works great, but for the price I won't give it 5 stars, It should include other recovery functions.

Almost fail but works as expected after Debug

Fail to Restore Twice ! Always fail at the last step where the restore failed ! Look at the log and found it's because apple backup encryption is turn on by Company. Turn it off and retry and got it success. All message, photos, voice transfer to the New Phone. So happy about it !

Product didn’t work

Update: Company refunded money. I’m not sure if system recovery tool works in any situations that iTunes does not. I can’t speak to any other tools. The system recovery tool did not work for my iPhone. The company did not refund the money when I said that it did not work and that I wanted my money back. In my limited experience with the product, iTunes worked better for system recovery. Save your time and your money.

Great product to solve transfer data from android to iphone and guidance provided is easy to follow. i personally use it to transfer whatsapp message from my oppo to iphone and it worked with payment of USD29.95. Rate as 4star as it only manage to restore messages but not the photo and video. But overall is a good product

Works perfectly well but to me it's a bit expensive. For this much money you should be able to use the software for as long and as often as you need to, not limited to one year or a specific number of devices.

Great app but very expensive

Honestly, it worked like a dream. Made my life so easier. Probably the only app I could find to transfer my WhatsApp data from android to ios. However, can't help but feel outdone by the price. Seems overpriced. Nevertheless, solid app, did what it was supposed to.
