Ricardo with DriverinRome was such a remarkable driver for our transfer from the ship to our Airbnb! We wanted a tour on our way into Rome and we can’t say enough about our first sightseeing in Rome! Ricardo wa professional, educational, interesting, and we were so pleased with this wonderful tour! He took us to all of the highlights, told us exactly where to stop for the sights and met us afterwards exactly on time. Booking Process
Smooth from the start. Vanessa handled the initial booking promptly, confirmed all three transfers clearly, and proactively flagged that the credit card was guarantee-only with no charges made. Communication was clear and professional throughout.
Responsiveness
Very good. When I sent the Sept 24 (one of three) cancellation email, Vanessa replied the same morning, confirmed the cancellation in writing, restated the two remaining services clearly, and closed it out cleanly with "no further action needed from you." That's exactly what I liked. When I use the service in September, I'll follow this up with a review of the actual service.

I Highly recommend Costinel Ene – a true professional!
I used DriverInRome Tours and Transportation for a transfer from Civitavecchia to Rome, which included a full-day excursion before returning to the port. Our driver was Costinel Ene, whom I can only highly recommend. As someone who also works in tourism, I can say that Costinel provides all the necessary information about Rome's highlights like a true professional.

Fabio was a fabulous guide! He was so proud of his hometown and represented it so well - a true Roma! Fabio showed us all the amazing sites, as well as local, hidden gems with wonderful photo opportunities. We even had time for a slice of pizza, “real” pizza that should be crunchy! After a terrific day, Fabio made sure to get us to the port on time for our cruise. Highly recommend Driver in Rome and Fabio!!

Our March 2026 excursion to Orvieto and…
Our March 2026 excursion to Orvieto and Bagnoregio was the highlight of a recent Mediterranean cruise. This was our second experience with Driver in Rome and we couldn’t be more pleased this company and their services. Our driver, Fabio was in communication with us prior to our docking and was waiting for us as we stepped off the ship. On our way to our destination he shared his knowledge of the history of Umbria and stopped to share what he called local “curiosities”. As we drove by groves of olive trees, vineyards and hazelnut trees he educated us on the various specialties grown in this region. After explaining the best hazelnuts are grown in this area, Fabio went out and bought a jar of hazelnut spread for each of us to enjoy this local delicacy. He is wealth of knowledge of history of the region. Fabio not only drove us to the major sites but also to the off beat areas few get to enjoy. If you are fortunate enough to have Fabio as your driver with Driver In Rome you will not be disappointed.
