Vet was cool but getting a prescription…
Vet was cool but getting a prescription shipped is like pulling teeth. My dog is now to sick and needs to be seen by his regular vet to get meds because we xant wait any longer. They have rediculous excuses why they wont ship same day or even a couple days later. If you love your pet dont use this service.

Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for a bit extra for situations like this, but once an order is processed, we’re unable to change the shipping speed. It looks like standard ground was selected for your orders, which is why we weren’t able to expedite them after the fact. We hope your pup feels better soon.

Great for us dog mom's that worry...
I am such a worrywart when it comes to my girls and Dutch has been amazing. The vet and staff answer messages promptly and getting an appointment is usually within a couple days. (The longest I've had to wait is the weekend.) Everything has always been explained to us in a way we can easily understand. The website was kinda hard for me to navigate at first but the Dutch team was very understanding when I couldn't switch between dog profiles and was kind enough to answer all my questions about both dogs from one profile. Now that I have it better figured out it's easy as can be. Thank you for making vet care affordable.

Dutch is such a great resource in addition to my vet. I love the easy access to visits and that I can see the same vet every time if I prefer. She has been fabulous . The annual cost can’t be beat and the price for prescriptions is more reasonable than I can obtain locally - thank you Dutch!

Having four large dogs can get…
Having four large dogs can get expensive fast, especially for minor issues like tummy troubles, fleas, or anxiety that usually mean a $50-$75 vet visit. Loading everyone up for the vet is also super stressful. Dutch has been a lifesaver—getting telemedicine, round-the-clock advice, and routine care without leaving home has made my life so much easier. My only complaint if you can even call it that is that transferring prescriptions to a local pharmacy isn't smooth, and their in-house pharmacy is pretty pricey for co-species type medications like Trazodone, Gabapentin or etc that cost like $.10 a pill can cost you $.80. You might save on the visit, but the meds can be double or triple the cost of just using a coupon at a place like Walmart.

Better than brick and mortar vets
It's great, so much more convenient to re up medicine for my dog who has a rare illness. The regular vet wants a visit and hundreds of dollars every couple months just to write the same prescriptions he is on for life. This is the reason we came to Dutch along with Tuckers recommendation.

I was looking for a vet since we just moved to Florida but they had at least a week waiting period for an appointment and I needed to get my Labrador on apoquel asap for his allergies . I somehow found Dutch while searching signed up and had a zoom appointment with in the hour with the nicest most caring vet . And hour later I was getting the prescription shipped to my door . Lifesaver ! Now I can avoid all those pricey anxiety induced vet visits thank you Dutch !
