Lack of communication and follow up

UPDATE: The tax forms I filed with this company are finally completed today, 4/27/26. I wad glad to know that they were still working on getting the W-2 forms approved with the SSA based on the response to this review. When there is a delay of this length, communication with the customer is key and I did not get that with efile4Biz. The lack of communication regarding the status of your forms is a huge frustration. I received a response to my first inquiry in February and then nothing to the multiple other emails and calls I have made after that. My W-2 forms are still showing submitted in April and I filed them with Efile4biz in early January. I would not recommend using this company if you need your forms to be completed in a timely manner.

I'm sorry I know this is very frustrating. The SSA is billions of forms behind. We can't control the speed that they process forms. The acceptance date has no bearing on your submission date. You submitted your forms on time. We are very sorry for the delay, but the delay is with the SSA not with our company.

efile4biz is a good company with a solid product. The reason I rate them a 4 is because their directions aren't always clear and I often have to go round and round or ask My Chat GPT to guide me.
